House rules if I ever end up running a campaign

• Characters may choose the average of their hit die rounded up instead of rolling at leach level
• All Paizo common and featured races allowed
• All Paizo classes allowed
• All Path of War and Expanded classes allowed
• Unchained classes allowed: Barbarian, Monk, Rogue, Summoner
• Variant multiclassing and normal multiclassing allowed, but no levels in a class that is your VMC. VMC must be chosen at character creation
• Fractional base bonuses are in effect
• Unchained skill rules are in effect
• Character gain 2 skill points every level for background skills as per the unchained rules
• Crafting and profession rules use the expanded rules from unchained
• Backgrounds and occupations rules are in effect
• Skill unlocks may be purchased using the signature skill feat. Unchained rogues can use their class features to unlock their skill as normal
• 2 traits (Paizo or otherwise) allowed at character creation. Up to two drawbacks can be chosen from the Paizo list, with each drawback allowing an extra trait to be chosen.
• Variant magical item creation rules are in effect
• Hero points rules are in effect
• Grappled creatures lose their dex bonus to AC against all attackers except for who they are grappling
• Called shots rules are in effect
• All characters may benefit from the power attack, weapon finesse, piranha strike, and martial power feats once they have at least +1 BAB and meet all other requirements the feat would entail (STR 13, light weapon, etc). They are considered as having these feats for the purpose of gaining feats or access to prestige classes, or any other choice that requires power attack or weapon finesse.

It's consistent, it frontloads HP to make Rusty Dagger Shanktown less of a nightmare, and it ends up coming out to about what everyone would get on average anyway (since you're just taking the 19 .5s they'd get and frontloading them)

Here's what you do.
Ask if April Augmented is allowed, and then ask if you can have a 1-level dip into the Daring Hero prestige class. This will turn you into a charisma-based Warder.

Curious, why exactly do people want to make a character who locks down enemies via standing in the way and so forth when an Entangle spell shuts down casters, is very sticky, and lets you hold the line just fine? What's that one druid variant that is basically just a better ranger? Go for that.

You can always stand behind your entangle effect so you have the feel of tanking.

I'm joining a mythic game set in Alkenstar and the Mana Wastes. Guns are under "commonplace" rules and thus usable by anybody with martial weapon proficiency without burning a feat, and advanced firearms (and ammo) are available for 25% standard cost.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a reasonably effective gun-user. How do? DSP content isn't available for this game, before anybody asks.

I know my GM likes throwing modules into our campaign. It's a homebrew setting, but that doesn't prevent incorporation of pre-made things. Just gotta rename/reflavor etc.

I myself don't know any of them, but I'm sure there are some tools out there that can be used to generate maps. Your GM could, like with modules, take maps from preexisting content and use them.

For what it's worth, considering that I am /very definitely/ a biased opinion, most of DSP's stuff is multiclassing/PRC ENABLED, but not REQUIRED, if that makes sense. Some of it is that we feel PrCs ought to be worth taking (which doesn't mean we haven't fucked up...) rather than automatically shit, unlike certain parties that will remain nameless. Some of it, like Path of War's multiclassing, is a throwback/homage to the parent system. But a lot of it is just that many of our fans enjoy theorycraft and multiclassing/refluffing so they talk about it a lot.

I probably won't try it unless I ask my DM first(I'm mostly asking because this may help me keep the less capable members of my group relevant when I use buffs on myself.) The funny part I like about the maneuver though is that if you use it in combat your enemies and allies won't want to help or hurt either of you other than through direct attacks so it is kind of an initiate duel ability(which there totally should be a discipline that let's you initiate and be the master of all non-spell duels from pathfinder(I.E. Psychic Duels, Verbal Duels, Fencing Duels, etc.)

Psychic Duels can be fueled by spells and are initiated usually using spells, but do not require use of spells to win(I have played with the rules quite a bit as I enjoy them and from my experience those with good mental stats and per day abilities to spend will often defeat min-maxed spellcasters unless the caster is built around psychic dueling).

I imagine the Sleeves of Many Garments nerf was based on the fact that the original sleeves are illusion based and have disguise self as a crafting component. It probably just effects appearance.
