One time I played as Great Cthulhu, defender of the Earth. I did it before that video game came out. It was awesome. He fought to defend mankind from robots from space, and threw the ISS at their leader, thus destroying the town and saving the earth.

He fell in a coma after being hit on the head by a piece of debris while he was working: a doctor decided to try his new serum to get him out of it and it worked... now he also has enhanced strenght, stamina and stopped aging.

In actuality she's a liar and basically did the space travel version of stealing her dad's car, crashed it into cross-galaxy ditch (earth), broke her phone in the process and is now stuck and can't call home to get bailed out.

She became a hero because it's fun.

He's no hero, never was. He's just an old killer, hired to do some wet work.

She just wants to live a normal life but the powers that be want to detain and perform experiments on her. As an unfortunate result a lot of collateral damage and loss of life has occurred. Heroes won't forgive that or help her in the way she needs, so villains are the best alternative even if it just makes things worse for everyone as a result.

The last survivor of all superheroes that fought a galactic evil conqueror. Thousands died that day, and he was 8 years old, but was forced to kill a super evil galactic conqueror solo.

His superman style powers grew over time exponentially. expanding on new powers in a way that he is somewhat able to use theoretically most powers, because of how his powers grew. Now he is so powerful he can shatter galaxys by pushing the blackholes or punching them.

He is worried that in a few hundred years he will be so powerful he won't actually be able to exist in this dimension or any other without annihilating existence. The greatest threat throughout the multiverse is basically something so vast and powerful it cannot be seen or comprehended, appearing as a nothing that swallows universes.

He is worried that that is essentially what he might become... or rather, that is what he will become in the future since the nothing exist in all timelines and dimensions and universes simultaneously.

Otherwise he can save everyone on the planet at Red Sun Superman style speeds, being everywhere for everyone, can read everyone's minds at the same time, even mind control planets or galaxys of beings at a time.

He has extreme difficulty forming relationships and simply tries to offer half hearted gestures of inspiration even though most people expect of him to be this inspiring figure. People demand a great deal of him and talk down to him as if he owes them everything.

he has to spend time in isolation in a timechamber so he can get some vacation, but has been abusing it more and more, spending thousands of years in the span of one second simply sitting by himself, no longer able to handle reality.

His confidence in his own abilities is without question, but his confidence in whether he will actually make the world better rather than just safer haunts him. He continues to strive to try to do the right thing because of the fleeting hope that people will change for the better.
