Arousal doesn't make any sense as written?

Why would your slave WANT to become more aroused so much so that she works extra hard to please you? Taken by itself arousal is more of a bad thing, your slave is going to want relief for her building lust, not more of it.

The power to INFLICT arousal, a building need that your slave might do anything to satisfy but that doesn't directly override her free will would be a useful one. Though Endocrine Control could probably manage the same thing pretty easily. In order to be a unique power it would also need the ability to control the target of her arousal..


Anyway, either endocrine control or the modified version of arousal plus Orgasm is one of my favorite combinations. Mainly because it's just fetish fuel though, I just love the idea of mind break through overwhelming need (orgasm denial+arousal) followed by overwhelming pleasure when they give in. It doesn't really produce useful slaves though, just sex toys who are actually pretty boring after you finish breaking them.

For a more interesting personal slave I'd take addict. Honestly I have a hard time telling the difference between addict and love potion, except that addict is probably stronger. The drawback apparently is that addict doesn't really turn off or tone down, she'll always need you desperately even if you don't have any time for her. Anyway, couple that with either stockholm syndrome for a devoted slave who may as well just be a really dependent, submissive waifu, or deal with the fact that she probably still knows deep down that she is being controlled and go for Orgasm instead for fun times, just be careful not to completely mind break her with it.

Combos are obviously with "nothing". Marking is too impractical, there's little reason to pick cuffs over collar and at 6 powers I can pretty much just take everything I want with collar so it sort of breaks the idea of making interesting builds. I don't even care about the slave options

I said the collar/cuffs are EASIER than writing. You can basically just put it on by force or trick them into wearing it and they automatically can't do anything about it after. Granted it's not THAT hard to write on someone with a marker, but it is a bit harder and that's for the weaker/temporary powers. For full effect you need to get them to let you tattoo them, maybe drug them or tie them down instead, but regardless it's a lot harder than just slapping a collar on their neck.

If she's real good I might even try to influence her towards evil and introduce her to the organization. If she's REALLY good, I might just switch sides. No grand crusade for social justice but simply a matter of survival.

I might be taking some liberties here, but I imagine addict as synergizing with any other positive reinforcement power. With just arousal she'd get pleasure from obeying but be able to resist that pleasure, but when combining with addict she'd start to crave the pleasure. Addict + love potion would be the difference between realizing she loves you and realizing she can't live without loving you. With addict + maid, she won't just do maid stuff, but also start to get really attached to the role until it feels inconceivable to go back to a life where she's not wearing her maid uniform at all times.

Arousal is just too convenient, since it's completely automatic. Lets you just send off your maid to do her stuff and have the time of her life, without having to make sure to constantly reward her with stimulation.

I could probably live with "just" 6 of these powers, but they're all so great.

Yeah, he'll be a pain in the ass. Assuming it's Battle form stats +2 each, then his speed and Strength will rival mine but he'll be better at defense by a good factor. I'm counting on my Regeneration heavily in this match to outlast him there. Push comes to shove, assuming Gigantism boosts Strength and Defense by two as well means I will be much stronger and rival him on defense. Also have the idea of Bio missile spikes conducting my electric discharges to trap enemies.

The Blizzard Lizard enjoys being nigh unkillable and breathing frostlightning at everything, but can't bring itself to actually kill or critically anyone, since it is beta and doesn't want to "feel bad about it later."

So how does such a beta Blizzard Lizard go about completing missions to eliminate Budget Rangers and Magical Girls, especially when it watches the Budget Ranger's Anime Series every Sunday morning and enjoy socializing with the Magical Girls at school (while in base form)?

Simple. Instead of winning, it uses them to further the organization's goal by causing a giant mess downtown as a Saturday-morning style villain and having them "defeat" it with the "help" of a "hero" the organization sends to take the credit. With the organization setting the Blizzard Lizard up as "controlled opposition," the public comes to love the organization as "heroes" from it.

Before anyone can catch the Blizzard Lizard, it's mooks come get it with the getaway mobile and escapes by using its super special ability, the Lizard Blizzard, to cause a blizzard and get away.

Life is good when you get to be a cute girl that can turn into a giant lizard and destroy stuff, especially when you can see yourself animated as the villain in the anime dedicated to the Budget Rangers.

I think that covers everything. Viloah can heal (including non-magical healing which is a big plus for me) and is clever, Royland is our main "tank" and has valuable expertise, Locke covers stealth and charm and Zaug lays down curses, while I tear apart everything at a healthy distance with my gun. Being a Marcher gives me a non-magical source of healing and better accuracy for my guns. Since I don't need mana, Ennilus is an easy choice. Finally, the circlet means people will actually take me seriously, which is the biggest hurdle because Marchers are apparently manlets.

Christ, Cassandra has 10 Wisdom, Kobruss has 10 Swiftness, and for some reason Andrea has 10 Endurance. Well I might not be the smartest or fastest person in my group, but I am the strongest. And we have three tanks. I will hide very far away in combat and shoot the important people as my team stands in a Purification Circle and soaks damage all day. In social situations I'm a natural and have good ideas pretty often, and the Iron Bracelet let's me have this uncanny ability to know what people might think is a better plan than what I came up with. It's a pretty solid combo. Hotheads aren't my thing, but shouting is too useful for the entire populace to give up, and maybe after wrestling Helena enough I'll achieve 10 Might.

All in all, it's a really good CYOA. Probably the best one in the last... two or three months. Maybe best so far this year, I remember seeing a WIP of the first and second page before. There's one thing I want to point out, though:

Anyone got suggestions for Technological Skills?

I got some ideas for Psychic Powers and Implanted Organs, but not as much for Evolution or Technological Skills.

I would like a minimum of 20 for each to give maximum choices, but I have a feeling that would be very difficult.

Exotic Goods (2, 0, 2) - Wait, this is the less lucrative option?

Cayote Pepper (5, 2, 4) - Agonizingly delicious and lucrative? A good option. I plan to sell it as a good rather than a narcotic.

Plump Helmets (6, 4, 4) - I like this option. Decent rewards for no risk at all. It's also a good cover for anything I get into later.

Drakescale (10, 7, 8) - Strictly better than Lodestone Goods, and a much better risk/reward ratio than most things.

Shipping Fleet (8, 7, 8) - Not ideal, but keeps my risk down.

Vilmar Allon (7, 4, 3) - Pretty much a must-pick, as one of the few who reduces risk more than he reduces anything else. I'll make him my hand - nobody like late shipments.

Vivania Nora (4, 4, -1) - Another excellent pick, for the same reason.

Artifact Smuggler (12, 12, 1) - That's kind of silly, to be honest.

Dynamystic - If someone asks you if you want to be a wizard, say yes!

So, richer and more powerful than some kings, with only the tiniest bit of risk. I can deal with this.

I think this needs a bit of work, though. There's a couple of options that are strictly better than others, fluff doesn't always match crunch, and I deliberately ignored Nino Jian because seriously, DOUBLE every 18 months? That'll turn a 1 into a 16 in six years, making all your other wealth choices just about holding out that long.
