Nah, they're vestigial.
I was binding the eyes of dead cyclopses to myself in order to gain their ability to see into the future.
On the down side, I now have 3 huge, vestigial, blind eyeballs that're slowly going to dissolve into patterning on the skin (It'll take a few months)
On the up side, I can now control the fates of men, 3 times per day.

Well it actually works (And is effectively 3 free 'roll a number of your choice per day' in Pathfinder) so its all good on that end.
