Should the Athletics skill use Strength or Agility as its linked

"Athletics" is way too broad of a skill. It should be broken down into smaller skills.

Strength.
Agility doesn't exist as a separate stat.

Whichever one is more relevant to the task at hand.
And considering that most systems with "athletics" as a skill have "acrobatics" or "gymanstics" as a separate skill, probably strength or endurance most of the time.

Maybe Athletics should be the related skill, but each specific action should use a different stat.
Characters that specialize in certain types of Athletics can get different bonuses based on feats or something.

Like Combat Maneuvers in Pathfinder.

Cows have strength. Athleticism is more reliant on stamina and co-ordination.

You're all wrong, you use one or the other depending if the action requires strength or agility and depending on the method/style used by the character
Use common sense and be flexible ffs

Strength. That's what it says in the DH2 book, anon. The game does say you can swap out other characteristics for various skills if you can justify it, though.
