Well I meant more that, killing/destroying something in order to eat it for the purpose of sustenance is not evil (except possibly cannibalism, arguable).

So if the god is eating everything because he is hungry and is actually eating everything in order to survive, then it's not evil. If he's just a fat fuck though who wants to eat everything because it tastes good and makes him feel good as a fat fuck, then it's evil.

All bets are off if he isn't sentient though, like he's just some mindless blob mass that consumes everything by nature, then he can't be evil because alignments don't apply to things that can't make a choice.

What does "a god" mean in your setting?
If it's just a sufficiently powerful alien, and the only notable way it affects the universe is eat everything, then calling it a god carries needless moral baggage.
If it deliberately creates planets with life so that five billion years later they'll taste better, then I suppose it would have a lot of worshipers who are grateful to exist despite being ultimately doomed.

If he's a force of nature whose function is eating, that's neutral
He most likely can't be good since his whole role in the world is destruction one way or the other
