There are gamebooks on Steam. People are paying a lot of money for a fucking CYOA with dice.
So whats your excuse THIS TIME, /tg/?

>people are paying a lot of money
Facts not in evidence, etc.
1/10 replied, etc. tl;dr:
Shitpost better, OP.
I got one in a humble indie bundle once
it's okay I guess. Got most of the original books second hand at a fete, and this is certainly more convenient, but I wouldn't pay much for them.

It's likely that if they were quality they would have been recognized as such.
That said, I've considered the same sort of concept, as I'm drveloping as a programmer.
More as an experiment than anything else, probably end up being cheap as fuck.
>>46655465
Excuse for what?
>>46655465
What do you mean, OP? There has never been a finished CYOA or quest thread on /tg/ that I would pay money for. So I just assume that if I made one, no one would pay for that either.
>>46657766
I'd pay money to get CYOA/quest threads off /tg/.

This.
They can take anime autism cancer with them.

The Tin Man ones got brilliant reviews on their original platform. They're pretty sweet.
Gamebooks have fuck-all to do with shitty /tg/ CYOAs.

>CYOA with dice
Solo-roleplaying. Does it sound better?
>a lot of money
I got Sorcery! 1-3 for android on some humble bundles, as well as a Tin Man bundle (9$ for 12 games) and Lone Wolf (again a bundle for 4$ for some 10 games).
I'm only sad that Fabled Lands was released only on iOS and is not sold anymore. I was waiting for an android port.

At least the books got reprints!

Well, I got them obviously, and there is the fan-made app, but it needs Java.

Did you know people pay money for these things called books? They don't even have any choices or dice! It's just a bunch of words. Why isn't anybody paying me for this post?
