Congratulations are to be given, men, we've recovered inquisitor Jackson, albeit the fact that to do it made us fight other inquisitors has given me doubts if we did the right thing... this regiment is attached to the Ordo Xenos, not Hereticus...

FAQ:
>What the fuck is this?
Somewhat a campaign of crack-infused free-form roleplay in the grim darkness of the far future.

>When do you guys make these threads?
Usually mondays at 2PM GMT, but they sometimes extend to Tuesdays if we got caught in the middle of something when the thread died and it was too late to make another one the same day.

>Can I join in?
Sure, just think of a character and have fun, you can find most info in 1d4chan albeit it's ussually a little bit out of date in comparison to where the threads are.

>Is there any requirement in character creation.
Not really, we've had Xeno infiltrators, Chaos infiltrators, Villains, Heroes, Normal Guardsmen, Crazed Guardsmen, Assassins, Psykers, Space Marines, Inquisitors, Squats... just think whathever and join the fun.

>Is it allowed to have more than a single character?
Yes as long as you don't use it to powerplay.

>So how you guys do the playan'?
We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.
It's important to know that the regiment is now in the employ of a radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, with influence from an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor and under the watch of an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor. Yes we've been through a lot of shit.

>>46454476
So it is ok only when the Minoaturs do it? Bullshit!
>>
>>46454483
No that's not what I meant, sir! It's just...
>Shutting up.exe
>>
>lights blip.
>the machine that goes "ping" pings.
>a slow and steady ticking sound ticks away.
>The hulking figure breathes heavily in the near empty ward.
>>
>>46454476
Shooting xenos is better then shooting .......what ever we shot at when with the ordo hereticus

>>46454483
>>46454508
morining
>>
>>46454476
Do not worry, corporal. The ordos are not set in stone, and to fight enemies of man, we should be fluid in our actions.
>>
>>46454522
>leaning against the wall eating cereal he nods at the Ratling
morning, anybody seen the toaster?
>>
>>46454508
I'm sick of this, I am not going to paint a shark on my pauldrons every time I feel like doing some old fashioned fratricide.
Compeltely justified, anyway.
>>46454522
Let's see, guard... Lucky? Damn son, your name's a joke. Where were you when we were enacting the most fabulous daring rescue the imperium has ever seen in 10000 years? Wrong answer will result in a short but significative face to face with a plasma pistol!
>>
>>46454544
It's just that I don't want to be deleted from all records of existence and then be terminated by 'ork snipers'...
>>
>>46454553
N-no! Didn't we space that evil thing?

So......what are you all even doing?

27 times? No, the last case was just presumed dead... 26 officially confirmed deaths, not to speak of disappearances or "never simply existed" cases.

Come on the ship needs you awake to be ordered to take off... We're done with this hell-hole of scum and villany.

I was meant to join the Enochian Second Sons, this is all a mistake

>>46454731
You didn't sign in you 3-feet-tall scum, this is a penal regiment!
oh ok. Later then

>>46454711
Oh by this stage nothing in this regiment would surprise me anymore

>His eyes widen as if he's just realizing this fact
It is? Well gosh I must have gotten on the wrong spaceship.

>>46454734

>>
>>46454752

on the bright side you won't be dealing with me for long.

>>46454697
In the official records I show up as Moved to a Penal Regiment...

...at least that's what the commissar said they'd show...
>>
>>46454785
Well, on the recent operation I was shot in the chest fairly promptly after disembarking, "alright" is up to interpretation

Interrogator? A moment, please.

That's a crime, capital crime, ratling! I hereby assign you to this penal regiment!
See, it is easy.

Well I got on well enough with Bob, I'm sure I can get along with another filthy xen.... ahem, another not-so-human servant of the Imperium.

True, but on the other hand you're alive because the 'Captain' kept you alive. So at least one 'Officer' cares.

You... uhm... shone... and healed up everyone... and started firing mindbullets.

What? He is already with us, I am just using him as a support.

>>46454909
Affirmative, just need to talk to Captain Tynnus and transfer his injured, then we'll be leaving. That reminds me....

You're welcome to accompany us to the meeting if you wish, but there won't be any conflict.

>>46454924
Come along lass! Work to do!

>>46454937
If it wasn't for the fact that his ridiculous ideas of "officers using firearms" seems to work, I would call that fellow out for a duel for being a disgrace to his rank.

>>46454951
>Whispering.
Sir it is not a good idea to mess with the psyker's Modus Operandi, she tends to be...

...aggressive.
>>
>>46454966
All the same, plasma pistols are renowned for their ability to go off at inopportune moments, so maybe if you point it somewhere else, perhaps the floor?

how about we put the gun down.

Dishonor... That may be true. Not a common word for Inquisitorial acolytes, but for a guardsman... Duty and honor, eh?

>>46455004

While I like the view lass, I meant 'work' work, not -work- work.
But you're right, we're very wicked, and we'll never get to rest.
>>
>>46454998
Duty and Performance sir. Some tasks I might do might be dishonorable, but only to my name, not to my family's.

I still can't believe... that it had been the Kents all this time. They were good people, once, at least, they held so much promise, helping to reform the lower hives into something good, something better...

Now I'll have to do it myself... under Commander Farsight's directives... I almost feel sorry for the Sororitas Order of the planet, I won't wipe them out, but I will have to demolish the building a build a health center in its place, nothing must be left of the old order, O'Shovah's orders.

Yes of course they are, it was foolish of me to question an agent of the Holy Inquisition, terribly sorry sir. All the same, do you know how we could track the heretic down?
>>
>>46457198
>Is watching
>>
>>46457123
>>46457091
>>46457089
Okay, let me see here... Naval shotcannons as we don't want to absolutely destroy the place, and special ammunition to cause all the damage we need...
>>
>>46457223
"And also over you Traffic Control."
>With that, the Achilles leaves Beshk and heads off into Space once again, with shields raised and weapons hot.

Alright chaps, hate to be an arse, but please resolve business so we can Timeskip the Warp Travel to Gospyria.
>>
>>46457192
>>46457228
>sounds angry again as the speakers on the ship pop again
He is very good at what he does!!
We've been looking for him but he's good at hiding... we kicked him out before but he most likely set up a new place to hide...
>>
>looks around in confusion.
well that could have gone better.
>>
>>46457272
Can we scan the ship? Perhaps the psyker woman has some trick to track him down? Is there anything we can do?
>>
>>46457290
The ship will be scanned. We're not using Anna, Ja.. I would get mad if she was hurt. Now I must get going, business to attend to and such...
>>
>>46457333
>Is following.
>>
>>46457272
Oh by the emperor, just get out of here! Though i am telling you, i will not cover-up for you when Anna starts asking.

>>46457290
ehhh...
I'll inform the Techpriest for residual warp energies. I wanna get drunk again.
>>
>>46457252
Sounds perfect. Let's go.
>>
>>46457346
drunk? I'm okay with that!
>>
>>46457346
Wait, that fellow is intimately involved with that deranged psyker...
>Hubert shudders in horror, as various horrifying mental images assault him
What can Anna not find out about?

>>46457364
Eisen, how close are you?
>>
>>46457259
Hey, Alice...
>>
>>46457394
Close enough sir, I'm coming with the Adept, in fact I think I see you at the other side of the corridor.
>>
>>46457346
Agreed. I'm leaving...
>walks out pretending to not notice the servoskull.
>>
>>46457395
Mhm?
>Alice has set the case on the table in 'her' quarters, and is idly thumbing through the Dataslate.
Something wrong?
>>
>>46457412
>Enters the vents to follow undisturbed.
>>
>>46457414
I need you... to come with me to Meeting room 4... I have something preppared there...
>>
>>46457409
>>46457252
>>46457339

Excellent.
Right, who do we need to go and ask to get a general search going?
>>
>shouts at the vents
all alone now! you ready to help me!
>>
>>46457447
Shall I come as well?
>>
>>46457388
I'll get drunk anytime Larrs. Just not in proximity of you. And please, stop keeping my Guardswomen awake during their wee hours, i am in need of manpower.

>>46457394
Him going AWOL again. She'll throw another hissy fit. And with the rest of the big cheeses away on business, i do not want to be in the receiving end of it.
>>
>>46457425
>the vents turn on high making it very hard for it to stay inside almost as if they're trying to force it out.
>>
>>46457463
>Stops following the Black Armor, descends to reunite with Mot.
For a matter of security I will speak with you through the servo-skull now.
>>
>>46457473
Uhm... I am looking for a more private... kind of meeting, Sergeant...
>>
>>46457500
understood.
>sits at the desk.
so why did they attack you?
>>
>>46457489
Understood. Not that I think that getting drunk is both a wonderful idea, and a necessary one to remain sane in here, but shouldn't we go and kill the heretic before any of that?
>>
>>46457491
>>46457500
>it gets to the cargo bay where it salutes some confused troopers and enters

>Brian sits down on a large covered in hot, dark blood. A large beast, probably some rare undiscovered species of some sort, lies dead 50 feet in front of him. He smiles.

>>46457545
Well... they're not very trustworthy of me, I could say.

Back to bussiness: Needless to say, you must have already seen I have teleporting tech?
>>
>>46457447
Um....alright then.
>Alice sets the 'slate in a locked drawer and stands to leave the room.

>>46457526
Um.....alright then, Behrend, take your choice from the Briefcase, Chainsword or Bolter.
>Alice nods at Behrend then heads towards the meeting room.

Both are Master Crafted

>>46457491
>Yet another blinking light on Bradford's command console.
>Security guards are heading towards the source of the security breach.
>>
>>46457589
I can see that, question is, what do you want in return?
>>
>>46457593
>the security team finds... an empty vent...
>>
>>46457615
Nothing.

Not exatly something at least, as you can see I have some bad reputation among your peers... I want to change that.
>>
>>46457630
>Security is looking not for for a Physical Intrusion, but the source of the breach in the Network.
>Nevertheless, they do report this abnormailty.
>>
>>46457637
want me to sing your praises? I can try but I doubt It'll do much
>>
>>46457593
>The meeting room is completely closed save for its entryway, no windows open, nothing to be seen from the other side. Its also dark.
>The room is lighted only by candles.
>All chairs but two have been moved away from the table, which holds yet another set of candles, a datapad and a few plates.
>As Delta closses and locks the door behind Alice some music comes out of the datapad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXkgn3QUA2w

I... I wanted to give you a propper first date, not just some random lunch...
>>
>>46457672
No, of course no, not.

I want people that stand up for me when I inevitably come back, people that stop the others of raising their weapons against me. I want to hunt daemons as much as anyone here, I am not the enemy...
>>
>>46457593
>takes the chainsword retroactively

>>46457661

Hello?

Anyone in there?

>>46457717

I can understand that. you've got me... friend.

>>46457741
it's in the room alone with mot

>>46457771
Its different skull then
>>
>>46457764
Hmph.
>The servoskull's mouth opens, showing up a belt.
We will see how long those words last.

This is a teleporter belt, it has only two uses, then it will self-destruct. You can't travel out of the ship whilst the void-shields are up, but you can travel anywhere inside the ship...
>>
>>46457817
>grabbing the belt he nods.
understood.
>>
>>46457865
>The servoskull goes back into the vents.
We might talk again in the future...
>>
>>46457695
I'm....I'm touched love....
>Alice sits down at one of the seats and sets the Boltpistol on a drinks cabinet.
>She gets halfway through setting the Chainsword next to it.....

>>46457740

"...........Aye Arch-Militant, I'll investigate it."
EMPEROR DAMNIT!

Miranda! you there?
>>
>>46457890

>Sad.

What...

What ruined my night this time?
>>
>>46457929
Something is launching an attack on the Network of this ship is what!
And since we aren't flying in three separate and screaming in tongues while the bulkheads molest the Crew, that means it's not Chaotic in Origin! Now, you tell me who that leaves us with.
>>
>>46457985
three separate directions*
>>
>>46457890
you mean I can't have character quirks show up without causing a fuss...

>muffled, angry noises from the inside
>>
>>46458025
>activates the belt and steps to see her
hello, somebody order a rescue?
>>
>>46458009
It MIGHT have been okayed if Jackson had asked if HE(Not revealing the involvement of Serena, since we know exactly how that would go) could do it. But as with the Talos, the Medbay and the Teleporter, it was just done without any input from the ship's owners. That's 4 strikes and usually one is supposed to give only 3.
>>
>>46458044
>she's bound, gagged, and blindfolded
>>
>>46458078
>unbinding her he leaves the blindfold on as he slips out the gag and kisses her.
I'm here.
>>
>>46458045
well just ask him about it then.
>>
>>46458105
he kinda doesn't know that is happening. She just doesn't like dirty work/living spaces.
>>
>>46458102
>recoils in the corner of the room
Go away. Go away!
>>
>>46458105
>>46458132
Bit late for that, given that it's already happening. The Achilles is also neither of those, the Penance is tho.

"Security? Send both Guard Sections to my position and find me Jackson. Tell him I want to see him."
"Yes now would be idea, thank you Lieutenant."
>Security does as asked, attempting to find Jackson, and politely, as in actually politely, asking him to come with them, should they find him.
>>
>>46458177
what's wrong?
>reaches a hand to her.
come on, it's me!
>>
>>46458184
for a few thousand year old computer it's plenty cluttered.
>he's happily whistling while fixing the light power armor in the cargo hold next to the Talos.
>>
>>46458248
You shouldn't be here. Go away before she finds out...
>>
>>46458250
>The Section approaches Jackson while one of the Privates scans the net for any signs of access from nearby.
Of course they'll find none but worth the effort of checking.

'Lieutenant', can you please come with us? Your presence is required by our Superiors.
>>
>>46458284
I don't care, she's a nut who's going to be locked away herself.
>grabbing your hand he punches the buttons on the belt.
>you're both pulled through by the teleporter.
>>
>>46458313
>as you teleport her away, she freaks out and skitters toward the vents
>>
>>46458291
>turns off the wielder
>removes the wielding mask
What does Alice want now?
>sighs
I guess I should thank her for helping Anna
>>
>>46458333
>watching her go he flings the useles belt away and stares at the vents
I'm sorry...
>>
>>46458387
It wasn't specified, I'm sure she'll explain when you get there.
>The Section makes to lead Jackson towards the meeting room opposite the one Alice was previously in.

Also when is a good time to skip over the jump back to Gospyria? Start of next thread perhaps is when we leave the Warp?
>>
>>46458388
>as Miranda hides in the vents you feel an hand grabbing your ear
I thought I was clear, trooper.
>>
>>46458422
>wincing at the pain he turns to grin at her
clear as crystal.
>he salutes with his middle finger.
fuck you... ma'am
>>
>>46458418
>enters the meeting room and looks around
I'm good whenever I brought both characters to the background or made them busy until the jump was complete
>>
>>46458456
...
>Anna mind bullets him to the ground, and orders Miranda to jump out of the vents
You probably don't understand. This animal, here, you know is she in for? Not only she has dozen of freindly fire kills on her shoulders, not only she perosnally assassinated her own officials, she's a cannibal who was expelled by her own family! If she's alive it is only because she's marginally more useful this way than dead, or at least this is what Verasii wants. But you know what, since you are so ready to die...
>hse puts a leash at Miranda's collar
Take her. I expect you to always keep her in your room if possible. Do never lose sight of her. Now fuck you, trooper, I am going to bet on your death, at safe distance from your pet dog.
>>
>>46458473
Thank you Reichart, dismissed.
>The Guards salute and leave the room....to take up positions outside the door.
Please take a seat Jackson.....
>Alice gestures to a seat with her left hand, the one not currently clutching the Bolt Pistol.
.........and do explain to me why this Vessel's Network was the very recent victim of some sort of Electronic Attack.

Da, probably make a mention of the ship entering the warp around page 9ish?
>>
>>46458544
...Roll for that.
>>
>>46458581
gee man it is just a narrative thing, he can even dodge it if he wants. not everyone has to be a competition now, we roll enough dice
>>
>>46458554
>remains standing
A cyber attack? ...what kind of cyber attack? is data being stolen, important files being hacked?

sounds good
>>
>>46458544
>caught off guard he's slammed against the wall.
>raising to his feet he grunts in pain.
bitch, treat a man like a dog and don't be surprised when he bites...
>>
>>46458672
>she's already gone
>miranda stand there, the leash around her neck
...she's right.
>>
>>46458701
doesn't make her any less of an asshole.
>limping towards her smiles
told you I'd get you out.
>>
>>46458670
Every system on this vessel and it's entire network is under attack.
And since we are not currently being molested by the floor, while Daemonic tongues spurt from our heads and fly through space, the Warp has naught to do with this......
.....BUT, there are certain people who have proven unwilling to extend common courtesy when it comes to mucking about with this Ship who would have the.....-equipment- to initiate the attack.

So, where is it?
>>
>>46458726
>offers him the leash
You didn't have to. Now she'll just wait until one of us makes a mistake...
>>
>>46458761
>using the leash he pulls her into a hug.
let's not make mistakes then.
>>
>>46458742
I think I know what's happening...

and I gotta yell at someone now
>>
>>46458787

INQUISITORS!!!

Someone is messing with the holy cogitators of the ship! The mechanicus demands an explanation!

>>46458742
>>46458802

Enough games people! We all know what we alla re talking about, stop this bullshit and show your hands down!
>>
>>46458858
>stroking her hair he sighs.
>nothing good is ever easy.
>>
>>46458802
This will be the last time I'm lenient about this matter. -It- should consider it's self lucky I haven't had it destroyed by now.
But very well, go and discipline the attacker.

Oh and while you're at it you might want to swing by the Mess, Special is the best Nerf Burgers this side of Terra today.

>>46458866
Yes, we noticed. I believe the Lieutenant will be taking care of it.

>>46458873
No....I think not. Now if you'll excuse me.
>Alice moves from behind her seat and towards the door leading to the corridor.
>>
>Brian stands up, and sniffs the air. Something is hunting. Hunting Brians. Knowing this, he takes off at full sprint towards the large mountain in the distance. Maybe whatever is chasing him, looking for delicious Brian meat, can't climb.
>>
>>46458923
Pissed about the gun at the head thing? You know, if you stopped acting like you hae a power glaive up your ass and started sitting at a table to talk you would have many less problems. And the same goes for Jackson.
>>
>>46458923
Neigh!
>Thomas yelled angrily

Some cretin defiled the tools of the Machine God! They shall bathe in acid for this, we tech priest shall conduct our own investigation!
>>
>>46458980
you tell em!
>the toaster is curretnly nestled in his knapsack
>>
>>46458923
Yeah. I'll go yell at her. But everything will run smoother and faster. And thanks for helping Anna

>>46458873
>>46458977
>picks you up and carries you down the hall
Calm down Anna. What's gotten you worked up this time?
>>
>>46459004
You tell me. How was your sojourn into those inquisitors' prison?
>>
>>46458977
>Alice pauses at that and turns around.
You did what? Where? And to who?! If I have to check this damned Dataslate.

>>46458980
.......As you wish....

>>46459004
Eh, not a problem, couldn't let her kill herself trying to find you. Damn near felt like it killed me, but I'm still alive so all's good....

Wait what's this about a gun to someones head?

Mortals these days...

>>46459050
So be it.....

That's what I'm going to find out.....

>>46459085
Iiii kinda was rude to people in order to enforce the thought that rescuing you was toppriority. Don't worry.

>>46459000
Come on brother toastie, let us get to work!

>>
>>46459127
.................
Jackson, relieve Acolyte Borgia of her weapon and person effects, and confine her to either her, or your own quarters immediately. She'll be released when we reach Gospyria.

Oh! Oh, look!

It says I represent Verasii now, you could please not put me anywhere>? Oh come ON! You WOULD have done the same for Delta!

>>46459176
Hrmh, very well then -Throne Agent-, do you want the freedom to roam the ship or a Physical Weapon? You can get one.
>>
>Brian has reached to base of the mountain. There is a cave. At the entrance to the cave is a large piece of debris, Tau in origin, with some very sharp edges. >>46459238
Hey, Slip, when do you think we'll find Brian? He's been out here quite a while.
