Have you ever played a really badly designed robot in a game?
How did it go?

Engine Heart General?

Friend once convinced me to play some mech game, so yes.
Poorly.
>>46410866
Well, I've played a robot in a really badly designed game.
>>46410866
In a way aren't we all playing really badly designed robots all the time?
>>46412266
Only you, Anon.
>>46412226
I don't understand the difference.
>>46410866
No, because I am already badly designed robot in real life.

Yea, I played a walking vending machine that talked like the Heart of Gold from the Hitchhikers movie. It went pretty decent except for the part where he got stuck in stairwells all the time.

The closest I got was making a robot in RIFTS. The GM vetoed it because I screwed up at chargen.

You may be badly designed, but you are not a robot.
Played an ork built robot in that sci-fi d&d game.
I had bad servos that seized up in high water environments, had to be pulled out of lakes or floods with the ship more than once.
The sweet advantage was I was the breaching vessel. We could cram 2 party members inside and fire my character at enemy ships for assults.

Every time I play him, I have a blast.
Clarification: I have recently graduated to playing a droid hacking droid. Was supposed to play him today too, but had other stuff to do.
Yeah man, I play Battletech all the time.
This one looks like a pair of human legs with a boner, and nothing above the torso.

But the Jenner is good. You want a shitmech, look at the Vulcan.
