Is it just me or does this CYOA give you so many points it just becomes pointless? You already have so much you can take more than half of all the options, but then it also gives you drawbacks to get even more.

With 2 drawbacks you can literally take all the power options.

Mostly it's just way too small. Also, it needs to describe what those powers actually do.
>>
>>46358118
Yeah. I would probably say dial the given points back to 10, increasing the penalties of the drawbacks, and fluffing out the different spheres would make it better.
>>
>>46358324
Eh, I wouldn't care if you could get something like 10 points, 16 with all 3 drawbacks. In that case I would have some fun choosing the spheres just based on my own ideas of what they represent.

7 perks: Infinite lifespan (2), Change appearance at will (2), immunity to disease (1). Perfect indexed memory (2).

With a little bit of effort, the perfect memory can easily let you learn most skills and languages, and once you've done that you can get a good job doing almost anything. Change appearance at will can also be used to make money and supersedes the buff/fit option, if you get fat you can just shapeshift thin again.

The Answers is the most interesting outside of the perks. There's a lot you can do with that that could ultimately be better than the perks, and that's not even considering "life 2.0". Still, it's too much of a gamble when the perks give me what I want up front.

Almost the same build as I'd typically take, except I would put 2 points into healing so I can heal others. It seems like an incredibly useful power down the line. Also it's questionable to me whether I'd want memory level 1 or something else like charisma level 1 or money level 1. Those three, as the last point, are just very tough to choose between.

The answers is definitely the most powerful choice in the CYOA, yeah.
>>
Post cyoas that have yet to have their day of autistic discussion
>>
>>46358724
Why don't you start?
>>
>>46358665
Miraculous healing is not something you want to be known for, else you end up expected to heal everybody. And then you'll probably get killed for it.

Charisma is about the only thing Memory doesn't really cover. It can still help, but not as much as with a language or technical skill. I was leaning towards money or languages myself, since I'd rather not work and I'm REALLY bad at learning languages (being able to learn them without accent is pretty cool), but Memory is just so much more powerful overall.

Whats New: got the "idea" behind each perk down.
Post Suggestions.
>>
>>46358821
You don't need to be known for it for multiple reasons. You don't need to use it obviously. You don't need to use it on those you don't trust to keep quiet. You can shapeshift out of being known.

Memory is fine, but it feels like it would become a drawback before too long. If you live for thousands of years it might be better to forget stuff. That, and I think you're really underestimating the "little bit of effort", as you put it, that it would take to get most skills and languages. Sure, you could get good enough at something before too long, but it would take centuries to approach a real omnimath of some sort.

Loyal as far as i've been paid and not a moment longer. Betrayal is bad for business but that doesn't mean you can skimp on payment. Morals don't get in the way of my job often but I would probably turn down any jobs involving offing children because that's just weird.

There's an unwritten rule saying mentions of Katawa Shoujo on /cyoa/ require it be posted
>>
>>46358917
You don't reach that level with anything else anyway. You can master 3-10 trade skills. That doesn't make you absolutely perfect at them, it's probably closer to PHD level understanding. With perfect memory I doubt it would even take a full year to reach that level.

It also wouldn't take long to learn a language. About the time it takes to read a dictionary and a grammar book. The accent though would be tough to get rid of. Music would be a lot tougher. The muscle memory might take normal levels of practice, and memory doesn't help much with creative composition.

Plus you can turn off memory 2.
>>
>>46359126
A lot of those things aren't just rote memorization. Even a language would take a lot more practice than that. Just knowing everything about its vocabulary and grammar doesn't mean you know how to use it, especially not by rote. So, by just knowing the dictionary perfectly you'd still stand there for 30 seconds minimum figuring out each sentence.

This applies to skills even more. Sure you could memorize all the medical or law books in the world, but that wouldn't make you a doctor or lawyer.

>Plus you can turn off memory 2.
Was talking about memory 1 because that's the only one I have room in my build for. Memory 2 is something I would never take over the trio of shapeshifting, immortality, and healing.

The Caravanner

Skills: Charm (Free), Medic, Mechanic
Perks: Silver Tongue (Free), Natural Leader, Wasteland Healer, Despot of Detritus, Jury Rigger
Vehicle: Auroch (-$2,500)
Weapons: Minigun (-$1,100, Auroch-mount), 9mm Pistol (-$200)
Companions (6+1): Demetrius (x2), Xander (x2), Varsuvius (x2), Willow (-$1,200)

Missions:
Salvation-Legion War (Salvation City)
Old World Blues (Give: Salvation City)

Explore the wastes with Willow and the remains of a mysterious organization. Trade for interesting equipment, explore junkyards for hidden treasures, and learn the arts of pre-war medicine and science from the experts.

Charm, Silver Tongue, and Natural Leader should see me in charge of the team over Varsuvius relatively quickly, and it is at that point we will be able to lend our skills in the wonders of pre-war technology to Salvation City once the Salvation-Legion War breaks out.

With the victory of Salvation City, and my new power bloc as a member of the Army and war hero, I will lead my team to battle the robot invasion, and uncover the mysteries of the Old World in Old World Blues.

Providing the technology and resources to Salvation City will boost my prestige further, and it is here that I can parlay my influence into genuine power, as the leader of the highest concentration of scientific and technical knowledge in the Wasteland.

>tl;dr I'm going to use SCIENCE to bring the wasteland to glory!
>>
>>46359298
Yeah I'm talking about mem2. Having it "indexed and easily retrieved" solves your whole "by rote" argument.
>>
>>46359382
It does not, because you only learn things by rote even if you can easily remember them. Being able to understand and use knowledge is not covered by anything in the memory choice, you'd have to practice it on your own.

Learning is essentially the process of dynamically linking memories. Being able to draw on the right memories in the right situations and put them together in the right way. This is what the level 2 power does for you.

We found her wandering around Terra D9313 and so far she's the only intelligent life we've found there. We think she might be the bastard offspring of an old one or something. Normally that means we would kill her with extreme prejudice and we kinda tried but in the process we kinda learned she can't die. She just keeps regenerating and can't die as long as some part of her still exists. I mean we threw her into a sun and she regenerated from the sample we took from her beforehand for fucks sake. After that debacle that she could actually talk since the was the first chance she had a chance to talk to us since we kinda opened fire on her and didn't stop when we found her. We learned that she actually has a mind and isn't hellbent on the destruction of the omniverse like the rest of the things that are similar to her. She was really happy to finally find something she could converse with since the last time she spoke with anything was when she asked her parent why it called her a failure when she was born. She fell asleep after that and when she woke up Terra D9313 was already in it's current state. Apparently she had been wandering Terra D9313 for half a millennium before she ran into us and we started blowing holes into her. As expected after that everybody involved felt absolutely awful especially when they found out she didn't really mind since she thought that being killed when she finds something new was normal.

Due to living in a hellhole with nothing but mindless beasts for half a millennia she doesn't really see anything wrong with killing. We were able to hammer out some rules in regard to what she can and can't kill. So we don't really need to worry about her up and killing some random person for no reason. She is very curious about anything new and tends to ask a ton of questions about anything interesting she comes across.

She can usually be found hanging out at Bio since they fucking love her over there since they can experiment as much as they want on her without worrying about her kicking the bucket or fighting in the arena since she's a bit of a battle junkie. As for her combat abilities besides the whole not dying thing she can change and manipulate her body however she wishes with the limit that it can't exceed her current body mass. She can however bypass this limit by absorbing dead tissue which means she would be a fucking nightmare in a large scale battle. Due to Elder Nadya's demands she is banned from going anywhere near the The Void Hunters since the budget can't really handle a second time. She is also banned from all eating competitions and all buffets due to numerous complaints about unfairness and business concerns.

Catchphrase: What are you gonna do about it? Kill me?

Liaison: A child who is as close to the great old ones as the Shog's I can buy from Biological?

Void Hunter: Yes.
Fulcaneli: The girl will be of much use, she rejects her abominable heritage as we all-
Liaison: SHUT UP YOU.

Liaison: I am going to die in this office. Tell that fucking skeleton he is to recruit her, and Fulcaneli- even if you don't see her often, keep an eye on her.

Early on he was forced to become a Corporate Hitman just to make ends meet and keep his family from freezing on the street. For years he was an obedient little lapdog to the corp, Until a group of criminals broke into his home, Black bagged him and drove him deep underground to meet their boss. His family would be cared for as long as he worked for them not a bad deal even though he was given no choice in the matter. After intensive training he met his new teammates and things went pretty well, turned out he was pretty damn good at being a not!shadowrunner and he was even better at murdering people. But as all such groups tend to end up, A run went south, A bullet blew his friends head off right infront of him and he had to get the fuck out or die himself. It was around this time, Slinking through the city darting from shadow to shadow constantly looking over his shoulder that the Travellers picked him up. He didn't have much options, The corps wanted him dead, The criminals wanted him dead for sure, And who knows who else wanted him dead. So he came along. In the years since hes only gotten all the more impressive with his skills, But not once has a single person heard him speak nor seen him eat. He completes missions with brutal efficiency and ends up in plenty of fights with those who have something to prove. It would be no easy task to convince him to join you on your adventures, But if you do, Eventually you may crack the tough shell and find the poor sad man inside who had to watch some of his best friends die, And wholly blames himself for failing them.

Remaking an old build I wasn't happy with.
Names: Spark and Athena
Gender: Spark: Machine Athena: AI (Female)
Origin: Grimdark Future, Technical Heretic
Perks: Survivor, Advanced Technology, AI Expert, Mathematical Genius, Tech Head, Memory, Architect, Mechanical Adept
Credits: 30
Drawbacks: Minor, My Best Friend, Command Word, Scattered Mind
Minor Things: Alone 5x, 2x Dalla
Faction: True Traveler
Covenant: None
Housing Bits and Pieces: Upgraded Yautja Brace, Upgraded Travellers Leathers (Internal, BOH + Heat Protection + Kevlar and plates), AI Companion, Timekeeper, Encyclopedia, Plasma Shields (Both sides), Personal Gravity Manipulator, Flux Generator, Upgraded Oculatus, Hardlight Transfusion
Weaponry (Hardlight): Stungun (Bigboy Stunpistol), Yuta Brace, Las Rifle
>>
>>46364274

You encounter Spark, or rather... Spark Encounters you in the middle of a hallway, A small cube rests peacefully on the floor. When you approach however shields spring to life and an oddly glowing woman appears. After some explaining they decide you aren't a threat and invite you to join them in sitting on the floor watching people bustle about on their daily business.

+ Very gifted hardlight generator
+ Skilled builder and tinkerer.
+ Encyclopedic knowledge of many things
+/- Multiple Personality Disorder, some like you more than others
-The Ai is prone to...Malfunction
-You'll have to carry the projector at times

With enough searching you can come to find the truth, Athena is the Traveler and Spark was her lover once upon a time so very long ago. It is possible that something so terrible happened to him that losing his humanity and all memory was a preferable alternative to life, But perhaps Athena is just a little more unhinged than you thought and refused to let go. Either way it is best not to ask if you don't want to scare them off.

I'm looking for a CYOA. I think it's two pages. The premise is that you've attracted the attention of the king of the Omniverse, who has decided to reward you with a minor noble title in his city. I always considered the Journey to be the most OP. Do you have any idea how badly you could abuse the ability to travel to any fictional setting? Especially once you start traveling to fictional settings and gain the ability to travel to their fictional settings?

7 Perks.
Infinite Lifespan with eternal youth (2)
Selective photographic memory (2)
Change appearance at will (2)
Immunity to disease and regeneration (1)

The powers aren't that appealing to me, they're all to life changing and I like to have more control over my life than get a template given to me.
Dying sucks and the universe is huge, my first two powers let me deal with that in straightforward ways.
Changing appearance can make life easy and more interesting in general. You can take liberties and assume you can become any physically possible human, or even any conceivable humanoid.
And finally the immunity and regeneration thing helps with the whole not dying thing.

What?
Besides, he can copy paste the images into Paint and get the same effect.
>>
>>46367924
True, I heard that too.

>>46367909
The reason is because each page of the master files are 1280x6000. That's the "proper" size, which was chosen for peeps who have a hard time reading small text. Current size is 60% of the original

However, looking at the Expansion, I'm not uber pleased with the readability of the layout. I'm thinking I might do yet another version which combines the Expansion with the original and only size it down by 70%. And maybe reduce the overall pages to 4.

>>46367911
Thanks for catching that. I'll fix it in a future version. But the reason you can get a point is because of HIJINKS.
>>
>>46368058
That's sized down TO 70%. My view is that having more pages is better than tiny ass texts.
>>
>>46366200
No, I haven't argued this particular topic before.

I have a hard time imagining any conflict about the word "memories" in this context though. It refers to every single thing you see/hear/think/feel etc, every single thought that passes through your head. Anything that can be remembered is a memory, and the perk is to remember all of it perfectly.

Homebody or Tycoon. It depends on how much control I have over the business. If I get to run it how I want with guaranteed success, then Tycoon could single-handedly save vidya, or do god knows what else depending on the industry of choice. If I instead have to follow the success, and simply always know which way to go that will turn enough profit, Homebody is the better choice. At that point I'm only in it for the money and I don't really need more than what Homebody offers.

Honorable mention to Genius. The rest just suck outright.

Anon, I've been thinking of this for a day, now, and I can't wrap my head around your thought process:
You had already decided that you could do X, but you asked anyway.
Why? I tell you it's hard, and you say it won't be a problem. I tell you you need a teacher, and there's only really one person who could be your teacher, and you say it won't be a problem.
What would happen if I had said no? Would you argue with me that it should be possible because you took Y and Z skill?

Well shit. Kinda referenced her trickster nature under Alma Elma.

It does only happen some of the time and there is a workaround that is kind of a pita but has been used successfully. I'd have to do a net search for it to find it again but WormAnon may not run into that problem so YMMV.

I'd give it a try and see if it worked fine first.

I think if the font size was reduced in the original 6000 size you could probably get more per page to equal the combined versions you have in size. At 100% size the text in the reduced/combined versions is very legible and my eyesight sucks.

Rogues were unaligned parahumans not some dockworker civilian. They chose to neither be heroes or villains.

"A Rogue is a term that applies to parahumans who aren't heroes or villains. not affiliated as a Hero or Villain, generally noncombatants." - worm wikia.
>>
>>46368766
I haven't finished part 1, so I wouldn't know. I got to the part where you're helping a mermaid get married, and I just killed a crab.
I have no idea who Erubetie actually is, but I wrote her in a nice way.
>>
>>46368902
I only played up to part 2 so I don't know her ultimate character development. She's basically the kind of person who acts cold despite feeling strong emotions underneath and hates humans because she thinks they're evil. I hear in part 3 she has a turnaround after she sees how evil some monsters are and starts to feel better about humans.
>>
>>46368508
Cool, yeah, just being a nigh invulnerable flier's pretty good in and of itself.

Splitting hairs there bud. There's really no difference between an unaffiliated parahuman and a civilian other than one has powers while the other does not.

Depends on the thread. It's not wholly uncommon for there to be 3-4 in one, which is a great deal more than many other CYOAs ever get. Plus, every once in a blue moon for whatever reason there'll be like 9-10. No idea why on those particular ones. In any case, it's clear that there is some interest in Alice, and it costs me nothing to post it.
>>
>>46369442

Evey time it's posted, Alice grows stronger. For every roll made, her shackles weaken.
It won't be long before she is unleashed upon the world, ready to smite all the non-believers.

>>
>>46369440
Also it synergizes incredibly well with Meta Thinker and helps a lot with my combo of Timeless, Speedster, and Law Breaking time as much as I want.
I can in theory ramp my personal passage of time up to 100 while still retaining my perfect reaction time. Combined with Speedster and...Things get cuhrazy. I actually debated dropping Strength Durability or Regen to break Speedster too but ultimately I felt that I needed the redundancy to protect me from...myself mostly.
When you're working with these levels of manipulation of things not meant to be manipulated it really doesn't hurt to be extra sure you dont kill yourself by accident.

Between the Innocent and the Adventurer.

The innocent is Immortality: Little Girl Edition. It's pretty shitty as far as immortalities go, mainly because you are too young. I've never been into the "little" part of "be the little girl". Also it's tailor made to become as boring as possible over the long term.

If I'm willing to give up immortality though (and the magician has already made explicit the existence of an afterlife, so it's not all that bad), Adventurer has the least drawbacks. Going in with the magician option lets you substitute potions for things like modern medicine, and there should be a hell of a lot you can do with that option in that world. Plus you get a dragon waifu.

My challenge here is to create the unkillable, Without going 'Hurr Shattered Law (Death)'
Obviously for this goal we'll be taking Endbringer.
Villain, Because otherwise this would be way too easy to just avoid fights.
Noncanon Postworm because why not
Shardless for obvious reasons
Now the drawbacks before our extras: Marked 3x, Outed, Conflict Driven
Extra: Crisis on Finite Earths, Because we can handle it.
Perks seem like the best place to go next, So we'll grab Brain Bunker, Plot Armor, Determination,
Alright, Were sitting on /52/ points. Lets get broken.
Powers: Shattered Speedster, Shattered Forcefield, Shattered Durability, Shattered Strength, Shattered Regen, Timeless, Shattered Law Breaker (Time), Shattered True Multitasking, Doctorate, Meta Thinker, Henshin, Shattered Buff Debuffer, Silence, Off the Record, Celophane, Defocal Point, Stamina, Persistent Physiology, Shattered Genetically Mapped, Potent Plasticity
And our last two points should go to Touch TK and Super Sense
You may have noticed an excess of Shattering going on, Mostly because I didn't really know how taking the same power twice (I/E Durability) Stacked compared to just shattering it.
Long story short: Don't fuck with Endbringers unless you are one.

I don't really want a full girl option on this one, and I normally go straight for those myself. In Enchanted Rings the girl option was the pinnacle of the cross-dressing tree, but in taking it you render its prerequisites redundant - they're no longer shameful and humiliating things for a man to have to do, but are instead perfectly normal things for a woman. It completely changes the context. I took it every time, of course. But that was a wide-ranging CYOA where you bought benefits by taking fetishes you liked and then fetishes you could tolerate and then debated with yourself whether you could put up with _that_ one if it meant you could get _this_ - it was about that optimisation, of what you'll trade for power.

This is a CYOA about being a sissy trap, not about being an actual girl. It's just a different genre. You're obliged to pose and present as something you clearly are not and can never truly become. There's humiliation in there, shame and embarrassment, the horror of being made into something you're not, the dread of disappointing your trainer by not being a proper girl and the knowledge that you'll _never_ be a proper girl, not really, but you have to try anyway...

So, er, where was I? Oh yeah. Even as one of the most obnoxiously committed girls here, I say leave out the girl option from this one. And, er, publish soon, I'm looking forward to playing!
>>
>>46358118
Your spheres and what each option in them does isn't explained in the slightest. The bottom part feels short and unfulfilling. The page in general feels unfinished in and of itself, on top of feeling like there are more pages that are missing.
>>
>>46359840

>>46370019
You can become more broken with far less points, especially if you're using shattered limiter. I don't particularly like shattered limiter because there's, well, no limit; be as strong as the Original Worm CYOA by taking one power and shattered limiter.

The gateway to brokenness are Avatar, Law Breaker, and Timeless. They work with other powers exquisitely. Pretty much every fucking Trump power is godlike by themselves, but when combined with other powers - especially the above three - they turn (more) ridiculous.

Oh, you had 2 points leftover? I guess I should make a mode that gives 100 points.

>>46370286
Shattered Limiter is easy mode. Ideally, you wouldn't use it at all. The description even mocks the user for taking it. That said, some players use Shattered Limiter for relatively minor power ups and focus more on the jailbreaking aspect. That was a surprise to me, but some of the jailbreaks have been pretty good.

Yeah, powers work well when combined.

>>46370486
Left intentionally vague. Some other versions were more specific about what you can do exactly. I guess your control is about as good as a talented -Bender from the Avatar-verse. But since it doesn't specifically say how crazy you can get, you might as well go crazy with it.

>>46369568
I kinda think people don't get quite how broken the Thinker powers are here. Just because it's not an outright Path to Victory.
>>
>>46370539
Timeless is a pretty crazy power. I didn't think so many people would "get" how overpowered it was. Some of 'em even surprised me.

But really, that applies to a lot of the powers. People actually bitched that I nerfed the CYOA and made it more limited, so I had to keep saying that I've actually buffed it and added more combos.

>Drawbacks: +11
Regress world to 1300 [+5]
Great beasts of power [+6]

>Powers: 21
Rejuvenation I = Quickly heal a mortal's wounds once per hour.
Intervention I + II = Bond with twelve mortals at once, preventing death while bonded.
Cleanse = Touch heals illnesses at will.

Imbue + Bolster + Expedite + Swarm = Increases stamina, strength, speed for a few hours once a day for all mortals in contact.
Flourish: Halve or double aging on contact at will.

Purify + Smite = Remove curses and cleanse mental illnesses.

Impart = Allow a mortal to learn powers once per day.
Empower = Use one power without triggering its cooldown once per day.

Mastery: Earth + Ghostfire = Control earth even when not manifested.

Defy Death = De-manifest instead of dying while manifested once a day.
Call to Serve + Reconstruct + Cannibalize = Once per day, touch a corpse to animate it. Three corpses can combine to make a golem. Undead can recover by eating other corpses.

I heal the sick and empower my paladins to slay monsters, giving them magic to learn and boosting their physical abilities. I aid them even when not manifested by controlling the earth beneath their enemies.

Every day I raise two undead bodies to serve mankind. While frightening, the golems' purpose are to help. They defend my people and construct great public works. They work tirelessly day and night to feed and provide for my people.

My headquarters will be a rich port city; any healing abilities will be in most demand there. I'll probably choose the Old World due to the higher incidence of diseases there.

Are there other gods out there?
>>
>>46370539
Correct. That's my interpretation anyway. You can choose any two powers you ever had access to at any single point in time. So you can't mix and match times, but you can permanently hold onto powers from a single time. Timeless + Trump is stronk.

Giving Avatar Buff de Buffer and having it stand next to you is also cruise control for power. God help the world if you gave it any other power in addition, too. Avatar + Trump is world... even universe breaking.

Law Breaker doesn't even need another power to defeat anyone (including those above). Just pick Law Breaker: General Relativity and jailbreak reality. I guess you can combo it with Energy Absorption: Time to make yourself a true god.
>>
>>46370691
I think the best use I've come up with is installing a subdermal storage drive, then using it for true, unblockable precognition. Works especially well if you're a Tinker, and you can decide "I'm going to set out and do this research" and just get the results from future you.
>>
>>46370829
Remember that Lawbreaker only lets you modify it by a single factor of ten. Avatar would make it more, but it's still not infinite control.
>>
>>46358292
There are two things I do not quiet understand about this:
If you happen to have ether mastery, can you still take Psyker? And, if so, could you take Field Leader for Psyker or Psychic? In essence they are fields of ether manipulation, but specified by access inhereted by birth.

Also the base Number of companions is 0, right?
>>
>>46370892
If by base number, you mean the amount of companions you can have by default, then no. Four companions is the base number. Master Ethereal Manipulation with Psyker means that you're an immensely powerful Psyker. Field Leader makes you the strongest in one or more fields of magic.

I posted a set of selections that was custom because you dont have a terrain like venice and you lack marines as a unit choice.

Id quite like to see someone run this as a civilisation thread because of those fancy rules youve made. Any chance your going to do that? Youd definitly get allot of suggestions and improvments. Also it was never really made clear weather you were commanding sections of troops or if your purchase was just one troop. Im more in favour of the latter.

Also, id like to see some form of perks you can buy to enhance your unit slightly so you could go the holy trinity of DPS, Tank or Skill cool downs... or agility.
>>

If i was to suggest some stats just as gut instinct id say:
>Terrain
Venice, -1 enemy movement +1 units movement.

>Marines (3 tokens)
H 20/20
M 3
S 4/10
A 4/10
T 4/10
Abilities; can move over water terrain without loosing stats. (i basically copied the airborn infantry stats)
>>
>>46360386
Id also like to see a perk which gives some form of enchantment to a unit you already have. Such as healing inchantment on their armour.

I wanna say that the advantage of this CYOA is that it encourages creativity. When I play a CYOA, the first build I do is usually the invincible immortal build. Which is satisfying, but not too fancy.

So I'm glad to see people are being creative and taking powers that in other continuities, are probably just mid-tier by themselves and cranking out reasonable interplay that make them just as, if not even more OP than the original Worm CYOA. I'm thinking this ups the fun factor if you're one of those creative people.

Thu sin necessarily true Anon. You can create cyoas based off of shows and games worlds, but have them be original with their own characters and lore within the lore and abilities.

Think of these shows and games as backdrops unless you're talking about cyoas directly based off a show and game with its characters and location/storyline.

To be fair, fixing the canon is piss easy even with no powers, given meta knowledge.

1. Get in touch with Cauldron (assumedly easy given meta knowledge)
2. Get Contessa to get Bonesaw and Blasto on the side of the good guys
3. Get Bonesaw to grow an army of Mantons and Alexandrias or whatever.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Portals infinite lifespan and regeneration. Assuming that I can be affected by each fictional worlds rules I'd be able to go between works collecting various abilities and what not, like training in the early dragon ball universe and getting the dragon balls to make myself a sayain and then proceeding to wreck every world I go to after that. I like to think they are all pretty amphibious, especially the mages having special powers in the water like to heal when in water of pull someone in, or to create a mist to hide your advance. There would be a healthy mix of weaponry, snipers, SMGs, LMGs, Grenade launchers etc. I picture a G3 being their main weapon with an MP7 for backup.

>>
>>46375042
Peaceful coexistence is impossible with how the monster girls in MGQ work. Unless they start being able to give birth to humans or at least demi-humans, the human race would be enslaved, wrung dry, and rendered extinct. Especially since the monsters have that half-angel abomination of a shota on their side, preventing the humans from ever being able to mount an effective resistance.

Ilias knew this, and decided (rightfully so) that the best course of action was to wipe the slate clean and start over.
>>
>>46375329
Not to mention the monsters are constantly dropping the human population directly with murder.

Except that wasn't her reasoning at all. All she wanted was lobotomized worshipers. That's why she decides to just wipe out humanity, which by the way goes completely against your idea.
>>
>>46375411
Because the humans were betraying her and consorting with her enemies and their own extinction.

Doesn't matter how much circular reasoning you use, the fact that she wanted to wipe humanity out shows us that her decisions had nothing to do with protecting humans.

They are "human," but with cool monster strength. Remember the king that wanted you to marry his daughter? That royal family had monster blood.

>>
>>46375811
You don't have an argument, anon. They can't leave humans alone. Not how their biology works. To use your analogy, you're calling wolves fatasses for eating a rabbit instead of not eating at all.
>>
>>46375838
So manage it. Just because there's a problem doesn't mean you should set off a nuke.
>>
>>46375784
Many can survive just fine without it; they just need it for offspring.
>>
>>46375865
The only way to manage the problem is to kill off monsters.
>>
>>46375865
>So manage it. Just because there's a problem doesn't mean you should set off a nuke.

THEY WERE managing it but thanks to Luka they can't now if you want to live by yourself away from monster you are screwed both figuratively and literally.
>>
>>46375849
No, anon, you're just ignoring the fact that it's possible for enough humans to exist to go around with population management, and that people don't need to be given an infinite amount of food to survive.

Wolves aren't thinking beings, they just eat as they are able. Humans are thinking beings, some choose to eat as they are able and become fatasses, others control themselves and have healthy bodies. This shows you that it is possible to control your instincts even when it comes to the most basic survival needs such as food.
>>
>>46375789
Elaborate.
>>
>>46375917
No there aren't. Monster population is always growing, and humans would always have to be split. Human males always choose monsters over human women, and the monsters all need a male, so before long the humans will die out because they're not breeding.
>>
>>46375912
And why does throwing a tantrum and making the situation even worse make it better in your mind?
>>
>>46375949
>Worse
Wiping the world clean and starting over isn't making things worse.
>>
>>46375945
>Monster population is always growing
Wrong. It doesn't need to. Even if it did, the human one could grow faster.

>Human males always choose monsters over human women
Wrong, not all of them would. Even if they did they could still split their attention to make human babies on the side.

See, this is the problem, you're arguing from the position that the situation is going to go in the direction you see because that's where it'll go without being managed or manipulated. But you aren't saying why it can't be managed or manipulated.
>>
>>46375949

>And why does throwing a tantrum and making the situation even worse make it better in your mind?

That isn't making it worse that's giving up after trying so long to salvage the situation and your people won't listen to you and rather think with their wiener.
>>

>Wrong. It doesn't need to. Even if it did, the human one could grow faster.

Yes it is. If the entire problem is that humans are dying out and you don't want that to happen, then just killing everyone yourself is worse than doing nothing. It's the worst thing you can do.

Besides, Ilias never intended to start over with humans. She just wanted mindless pets.
>>
>>46376032

You get the monster lord and tell them to stop breeding in a destructive manner. If they don't stop you make it a crime and form a police force capable of doing it. Bam, they can't do it anymore.

>And thus humans should be killed off along with their beloved monsters.
Why? The starting point was to ensure the survival of humans, because humans dying out is bad. Where did you change tracks to this, and why did you do it? No matter how you did it, you can't use "humans are dying and we don't want that, that's why we should kill them" as your full train of thought.

So, Luka is a hero, blessed (not quite) by Illias that goes on a quest to defeat the evil Monster Lord. Monsters have been a bit more hostile ever since the human-monster coexisting city was mysteriously wiped out. Very early on, Luka meets Alice, the lamia Monster Lord. He doesn't find out that she's the Monster Lord until much later. The two of them go on adventures (Alice doesn't help Luka in his battles for obvious reasons) and learn about the world as neither has traveled very much. They visit lots of different places where human-monster interactions are different. From the mermaid town where they live as equals to the monster-monster warring plansect village to the last safe, clean haven for slimes, to a city with monster-human gladiator battles (that almost always end in public sex, to the city where human terrorists have their HQ and plan attacks to kill innocent monsters that are minding their own business, to a village where humans actually "worship" (shinto style) the monsters, giving them snacks and things. Along the way, Luka meets the 4 most elite monsters (in the CYOA above). Once he finally gets to the Monster Lord's castle, he fights them all & then fights Alice. She wants Luka to kill her so that her subordinates will fear Luka & be less aggressive & so the humans' hate will be sated. He refuses. This upsets Illias who then decides to send armies of angels to wipe out every human and monster on the planet. She even coerces a rare monstergirl follower of hers to attack people (and planned to kill her for being a monster once she was done). Illias did not make the world. In the beginning, there were two primal forces of light and dark, holy and monstrous, Illias and Monster Lord. Humans appeared much later a weak, neutral party.

Since the Monster Lord didn't want the humans to die, she let Illias win. As part of her surrender, the Monster Lord placed a seal on herself, sealing her away forever. She did the same to all of her toughest subordinates (The Kitsune in the CYOA above is actually just s remnant of one of those sealed subordinates). With the toughest monsters gone, Illias proceeded to lord over humans, making them believe that she is a creator. Years & years pass continues to persecute the monsters, unable to kill them all. This is because, if she does kill them all, that will break the ancient Monster Lord's seal, making a VERY angry Monster Lord appear to oppose Illias.
>>
>>46376718

The game explicitly says it isn't and that what is happening is that human's spirit energy reaches a low point during orgasm which allows the monster's to overcome theirs and mind rape them.
>>
>>46377215
The game explicitly shows situations where humans are happily giving the dick to monsters, doing so even when they haven't been close to a monster ever before. That's not rape, that's just sex.

>>
>>46377366
Because most humans aren't breeding with monsters because it's forbidden. Are you being retarded on purpose?

>>
>>46377439
That's not a peaceful coexistence. Their current relationship is defined by strife and is only stable in those conditions.
>>
>>46377492
A lot of the coexistence shown in game is completely peaceful. Even if it weren't, the fact that they are coexisting at all shows that they can coexist without either going extinct. In fact, given that they can coexist in a chaotic environment we can conclude that their coexistence is a phenomenon that's stable on its own, without outside interference.

The places that defy the norm? The point of the matter is that if all humans and monster got along then the humans and monsters would all be fucking, and thus the humans wouldn't be breeding. The humans are only breeding enough because most humans hate and fear monsters. This isn't hard.

No anon, the point of the matter is that if coexistence during strife is possible, that means that peaceful coexistence is possible too. You just have to put some kind of control on it. It could be anything like segregating them and limiting the numbers of humans that can visit them, limiting how long each human is allowed to stay with them, creating sperm banks, creating human breeding farms, etc.

Your idea hangs on the notion that peaceful coexistence must mean a chaotic free for all orgy, but that's not the case at all.

I wasn't even referring to that. I said the mermaids were a shit for doing that. What I said was worse than death was being bred like cattle.

I also said however that your solution of NTR is shit, though, and not a good solution. Better than that would be wiping out the monsters.

>What I said was worse than death was being bred like cattle.
Hey, if survival is on the line, it's one of the better last resorts.

>mass murder is better than muh cuck meme
ok

Look anon, I think the problem here is that you think moving to peaceful coexistence would necessarily bring a change in the ratio of how many humans end up fucking monsters.

It wouldn't necessarily change that ratio.

Get it?

If 5% of human males willingly fuck monsters and another 5% get abducted and raped, nothing would change if 10% of human males suddenly started to willingly fuck monsters and 0% got abducted because the war was over.
>>
>>46377846
>better last resorts.
Humans are not happy to be treated inhumanely.

>It wouldn't necessarily change that ratio
Considering humans go for monsters at every opportunity and every single monster NEEDS to feed on human semen, I dosagree obviously.
>>
>>46377985
>Humans are not happy to be treated inhumanely.
What's inhumane is relative, and I don't see how it's relevant here anyway. Pay women to have more kids so that your civilization can survive, what's the problem?

>Considering humans go for monsters at every opportunity and every single monster NEEDS to feed on human semen, I dosagree obviously.
We've already been over this. Managing how much monster-human fucking happens would be a much, much smaller investment of effort than fighting an all out war.

Think of real world equivalents, like drugs. Drugs are great right? Why isn't everyone doing heroin?
>>
>>46378048
>Pay women to have more kids
Women can't have enough kids to make up for the vast majority of men outbreeding.

>Managing
There's no way to do this that doesn't involve mass NTR, and its better the monsters die than that.
>>
>>46378080
>Women can't have enough kids to make up for the vast majority of men outbreeding.
They can, actually. They can have the exact same number of kids they would have had with no men outbreeding.

>There's no way to do this that doesn't involve mass NTR, and its better the monsters die than that.
Sure there is.

Let's see. The war is over. Everyone can fuck, yay! Except no, you make all manster-human sex illegal unless it's supervised. There you go, the choice has been limited. Most men can't fuck a monster even though monsters and humans are peacefully coexisting, so they continue to fuck human women in about the same amounts as before the war ended.

>NTR
>muh cuck memes xD

This is assuming the few men can knock ALL of them up to this point. Not to mention the incest issues.

>Monster-human sex illegal
So you're back where you started with monsters rebelling and raping and eating people. Yay?
>>
>>46378201
>This is assuming the few men can knock ALL of them up to this point.
Having a 90-100 man-woman ratio wouldn't be very noticeable. In fact, far more skewed ratios have happened in real life without a problem.

>incest
No incest needs to happen if your population is big enough. Sure, if you're dealing with a few hundred people it could, but since you're dealing with what's probably several million it's a moot point.

>So you're back where you started with monsters rebelling and raping and eating people.
No. You actually enforce the fucking law, dipshit. Jesus christ how can you be this retarded. Do you even know how laws and the police work? Actually, are you even aware these things exist?
>>
>>46378271
>90-100 man-woman ratio
Considering all men go for monstergirls if available it'd be a lot more skewed than that.

>No incest needs to happen
The gene pool gets smaller so it'll become much more of a thing.

>You can actually enforce the law.
Humans are too weak and Alice can't even control her generals let alone all monsters everywhere.
>>
>>46378299
>can't even control her generals let alone all monsters everywhere.
Isn't that why Luka goes on a quest to defeat her? Anyone you beat up agrees to play nice.
>>
>>46378299
>Considering all men go for monstergirls if available it'd be a lot more skewed than that.
It would be the same ratio as before the war ended, since that's what you'd base the law on.

>The gene pool gets smaller so it'll become much more of a thing.
Anon, I don't think you're actually thinking this through. After a few thousand people are in the population it doesn't matter anymore. The difference between having a 100k times bigger gene pool than strictly necessary and having it 95k times bigger than strictly necessary wouldn't actually mean anything.

>Humans are too weak and Alice can't even control her generals let alone all monsters everywhere.
They have the means to do it. Especially since they can stop wasting resources on fighting a total war.

Humans can police themselves just fine, and monsters could do it among themselves too. You just need their leaders to agree, which is already assumed in the truce they formed.
>>
>>46378376
Everyone you beat up pretty much gets turned temporarily into an animal or object because his sword drains all their energy.
>>
>>46378407
Well, yes. But what I was talking about was the showdown with the generals. They agree to support your idea of coexistence, however begrudgingly that may be for Erubetie, if you beat them.
>>
>>46378405
>It would be the same ratio as before the war ended
No, because it was forbidden before so most men didn't even think or try to. They didn't have snake girls siddling up to them.

>It doesn't matter anymore
It does, actually. Smaller gene pools lead to more harmful mutations and those harmful mutations being spread easier.

>They have the means
Oh yeah? And how's that? You can't just say they have means.

>Monsters are going to intentionally not eat or get sex when it's their whole thing and humans can police monsters
Nope.
>>
>>46378484
>No, because it was forbidden before so most men didn't even think or try to. They didn't have snake girls siddling up to them.
It was forbidden by religion, so they didn't do it. It's forbidden by law, so they don't do it.

No difference.

Also if you think lamias sliding up to them or whatever the fuck is a problem, then limit that too. Except that already happened all the time before, so I don't see an issue.

>It does, actually. Smaller gene pools lead to more harmful mutations and those harmful mutations being spread easier.
Wrong. That's not how mutations work at all. After you have enough to avoid close incest you're fine. The comment of harmful mutations spreading easier is also wrong, it actually roots them out faster. There are several species of animals (like cheetahs and humans) which have in their history gone through a tight genetic bottleneck and made it out fine. The downies die off, everyone else moves on.

>Oh yeah? And how's that? You can't just say they have means.
They are functioning societies with armies. I think you're the one who has to give a good argument on why you think everyone is so incompetent that passing a basic law is impossible.

>>Monsters are going to intentionally not eat or get sex when it's their whole thing and humans can police monsters

And why, exactly, isn't basic polygamy on the table here? Every man takes about 0-3 wives, human or monster doesn't matter (it'll all average out in the end). You don't have enough from the same man to worry about incest, and you are still able to balance a population that is 2 to 1 or 3 to 1.

Of course, if human women are so fucking bitchy no one wants to marry them when they could have a monster instead, I think there's a different problem at the root of this.
>>
>>46378673
Forcing human women to share is very cruel.
>>
>>46378633
>It'll lead to the same lack of peaceful coexistence.
No it doesn't, since instead of a holy war you have trade partners. Instead of dangerous barbarians you just have neighbors that you know won't do anything.

>>They're going to send entire armies after each monster/human couple.
>>When most of the army is probably monster/human couples.
No, see, you just police the population centers. Everything else doesn't matter on the large scale.

But yeah, now that you mention it, sending an inspector to a few outlying households every now and then to make sure they have their monsterfuck license isn't a bad idea, and would actually happen.

>You're still expecting the monsters to not get laid or eat.
No I'm not. I'm giving them the exact same amount of food and sex they had before the war ended.

I think you're baiting me too, anon. You're just so impossibly dense, it's like you're giving an enormous effort just to make up reasons why this wouldn't work out of nothing, even when what you come up with can be dismissed out of hand by basic logic that a two year old could handle.
