Mortifactors have a pretty sweet colour scheme, I always liked the different coloured faceplate from the bowl(?) of the helmet.

I love to shill my favorite chapter.

Salamanders and Lamenters need not apply for the most humane chapter's position. And supposedly best jumpack users as well, to the dismay of RG and BA.

In fact they do my dear anon, they have a few short stories with they featuring in it, and even some with them as the main characters!

Their entire mentality is about being the most self-suffering fatalistic grim bastards possible, but all in the name of ensuring that mortal humans don't suffer like they do.

They all see themselves as being already dead and that suffering and pain is their lot in the universe and nothing will change that, so nothing can hold them back from fighting as hard as they can to protect the innocent and the faithful from feeling their suffering.

They're one of the only chapters that manages to be both very grimdark and very sympathetic about protecting regular humans, without those two sides of their mentality conflicting.

Doom's flight pretty dope. They feature in many Blood Angels Rafen's story IIRC, and the initiation process is detailed in the shirt story that my quite is taken from, top of their Lexicanum page.

At the end they get an ultimatum, either they try to finish it, and get blown to smithereens by the eldar rescue fleet, or they just fuck off.
It was really interesting to see how and Eldar CW behaves under an attack.
