I think it's not about how we feel about them - The picture's styles change as well as their IMPLIED attractiveness. 3-4 is more realistically drawn than 5-6 etc, with 17-18 is the most stylized one.

But additionally to that, all of them are, in their style, meant to represent beauty relative to their position. 11-12 is slightly stylized, but it is clear that it's meant to be a plain looking woman in that style, 15-16 is less full-animu than 17-18, but in it's own style could still be overtrumped, and 17-18 is, although drawn in an unattractive style, the way you'd present the most attractive woman using that style.
