I didn't read the book but I have heard that based warsmith Barabas Dantioch dies in it. If that's true I really mourn it, one of my favorite characters in HH. I hope they make his miniature.

Dantioch dies overloading the Pharos to wipe a bunch of night lords. The resultant quantum pulse calls the Tyranids in. They were chillaxing the entire time in spess waiting for signs of life to manifest in the surrounding galaxies.

I can't really account for the new book, but to this moment he was absolutely everything a SM should be. Honorauble and righteous to the end. Ever working to wash the stain of "double treachery" from his armour. I don't know, he still seems like one of the best characters the HH series produces after all.
