>Standard D&D setting
>Evil Dragon God enters the Realm
>Chromatic Dragons get buffed to silly levels, Dragon cultists get insane powers and every evil-, chromatic-worshipping dragonkin is oozing and dripping with draconic might
How does this change the setting within, say, 10 years? What is reign of evil dragons like?
>How does this change the setting
It becomes a clusterfuck of evil dragons vying for power

Well I imagine you get a lot of nations quickly buddying up to the nearest MERELY tyrannical chromatic dragon to be their overlord, and also 90 of successful heroes have chromatic ancestry.

Worship of Bahamut is forbidden. A secret underground worship continues under constant threat of chromatic discovery.

Is this about Rise of Tiamat ?

Yep.

Pathfinder dragons a shit.
>>44189527
Pathfinder blues > D&D blues
>>44189593
They look kinda generic to me, D&D ones were recognizably distinct
>>44192327
It's all generic dragons. None of them look particularly interesting.

What are the differences in character and personality between the Pathfinder chromatics and DnD?
>>44186616
Well, within 4 months after a few councils in waterdeep and the takeover of a silly yet unnecessary flying castle, and an envoy to a nation ruled by undead, a group of plucky adventurers will get rid of Evil Dragon God by disrupting a ritual the dragon cultist was in the middle of doing.
I'd say the last holdout of any consequence for the cult would be gone after 8 years.
