Extratorrent.cc links won't work right away in Norway, because some random low ranking judge who was unable to fathom what he was ruling over sentenced that all Norwegian ISPs should block access to certain torrent websites "like they do with child porn", in a September 2015 verdict.

The block is just a DNS-poisoning attack though, meaning thepiratebay.org and others resolve to the wrong IP address, if your machine is set to look it up with your ISP. Put simply: The domain name lookup-service supplied by your norwegian ISP is intentionally broken for the blocked sites.

So there are two simple ways to get around it:

Either you can configure your system to use another DNS server (there is one by Google which probably spies on your activity, or there are other open and functioning/honest DNS servers out there).

Or you can edit your HOSTS-file (/etc/hosts in linux, C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts or similar in windowns) to specify the correct IP addresses manually:

A quick check at a site like https://mxtoolbox.com/DNSLookup.aspx tells us that extratorrent.cc should resolve to IP address 104.23.196.8 or 104.23.197.8 (it's common for big websites to use multiple IP-addresses/physical network connections to distribute the workload).

So adding the following to the end of your hosts-file, saving it and possibly restarting your browser or rebooting your system (might not be necessary), should repair the intentionally broken internet for norwegians:

It just doesn't pay off to make huge Vivid style productions anymore, when most people get all the porn they could ever desire for free on the internet. Plus people tend to find the old stuff boring, because it's no longer that big a deal to see someone fucking (which is a good thing mostly, but normal porn doesn't have the explosive effect it used to anymore).

What COULD still excite people, I'm sure, is the taboo stuff, and believable special fantasies. The Japanese are good at that, and so JAV is becoming ever more popular. I mean, in the 80s Colour Climax in Denmark could make porn with 15 year olds playing with live eels in an incest fantasy scenario, and it would be completely legal. There were even porn cinemas with CP in the 90s! Abusing someone was illegal of course, but if everybody was happy, nobody made a big deal of anything.

Nowadays, people are thrown in jail for years just for finding stuff like that on the internet. It's completely insane, and we suffer under it. Also, repressed sexual desires and fear are turned into hate.
