I'd be hard pressed to believe that even the descendants of colonial settlers, many generations down the line are free from any genetic mutations that would've otherwise not occurred had their ancestors not came here. You're talking a time span of over 200 years potentially. Isn't that relatively significant in regards to ethnicity? What about even 100 years?
