Why is the media so scared to suspect UNLV of point shaving and colluding with Vegas?

There's no reason why a historically shit team that went 4-8 last year was a 45 point favorite against anyone. Are they too scared that it might ruin a feel good story for black colleges or scared of exposing something that could ruin Vegas?
