How does the USA mens team not win every single international basketball title by no less than 40 points?
>>77400623
They rarely try the entire game.
>>77400637
This. Also that many star players on one team don't know how to play together as a unit, everyone just heroballs all game.
>>77400653
Shouldn't that not matter considering the overwhelming talent?
Cute that they have a token white guy
serious answer, many of the other top international teams (e.g. spain, argentina) have been playing and training together since they were teenagers, while usa is just kinda thrown together. the chemistry makes up for the talent disadvantage
>>77400712
No, because basketball is still fundamentally a team game and a bunch of great talent haphazardly thrown together still won't dominate less talented teams who constantly practice and train together and know how to work as a team and execute plays and defensive systems.

>implying 7ft11 giganiggas need to follow the coaches orders against 6ft3 yuros
>>77400623
Because International play became a bigger deal within the last 20 years. Part of the reason the Dream Teams dominated so much was that other Pro level competition was so low, Yugoslavia would have had a good team in 92 but it broke up into multiple countries and scattered the players, so no one had a chance against the US.
