I have a question to the french balls on this sub regarding the Neymar transfer.
So ive read on the webs that due to tax reasons Neymars transfer can cost up to 300 million because the release clause is seen as income or something.
But i dont get it. The money of the release clause is going to Barcelona, not Neymar. So how is it seen as Neymars income? Doesnt seem to make much sense.
Also, is it normal that french teams pay tax when they buy a player?

- Release clause money goes to Barça. It is taxed by 56% to Spanish IRS

- Then it is said that Nerman has a massive signing bonus of 100m €, which will be taxed (Nerman also had a bonus of 40m € afair for coming to Barça, which he didn't tell Spanish IRS, and there he got his problems)
- Then you have his wage, also taxed monthly or yearly (doesn't matter)
- And it is said he'll got 100% of his image rights, there he'll have to put his society in France, also taxed, if he doesn't, it's tax evasion (Ronaldo got busted for that)
And for when French club buy a player, I don't really know
