Its not hard to understand, everyone knows baseball is full of roiders so the satirical point there is obvious. The rest of the storytelling is classic simpsons

Yeah most the jokes aren't related to the actual players themselves where foreigners would have to know who they are to get them. The sideburns joke and the Daryl chant are related to something involving the players but they are so absurd that you don't have to know the full stories behind them to find it funny.

I miss oldschool simpsons. After the 9th season or so it just went to shit.
