I can't stand most women's sports to be honest.

I don't want to sound like an asshole either, but it is just not entertaining. Women's soccer vs men's, softball vs baseball, WNBA vs NBA, the list goes on.

Women's sports are just unwatchable and the men's game shouldn't be expected to prop up the women's. Owners of teams shouldn't be expected to make a women's equivalent.

current audience (mostly men? watching sports and other things) is fixed on current mainstream sports (men's sports), so you'll have to catch the interest of the uninterested audience (mostly women? watching other things but not sports) and hope they make things snowball so it cashes in and can promote itself, cash in even more and keep the cycle going until both audiences find their shared interests and start mixing into the same

I'd guess it's way easier to give those with no sports in their life a gateway to sports than to convince those with sports in their life to spare time from those to watch what they believe a substitute and imitation

Face it, female sports are never going to be at the level of male sports because female athletes aren't at the level of male athletes. But volleyball is watchable because beach volleyball has bikinis and indoor has tight booty shorts. Make that apply to all sports.

Here's a thought what about strip sports? Would you watch that? For instance one team scores and the other has to take a piece of clothing off.

Why not come up with sports where women are better than men? otherwise there's little reason to watch since you just know the men's is leagues better.

For example, women's figure skating is better than men's because it is designed for their strengths: grace, rythm, lower weight and height is even an advantage, therefore it is more attractive to watch than the mens category.

So yeah, for womens sports to be succesful we need to come up with sports that aren't just based on strength, power or being tall as those only attract the ugly chicks and not the qts that would make them popular.
