A bit off topic but is Real Betis supposed to be a rich team?

I always thought they where one of the richest clubs in Spain. Not as rich as Barca/Real/Atleti but on the second tier below them. They seem to be one of the most mentioned/popular teams in Spain or at least one of the most meme'd. Are they actually popular and rich or not?

Betis could end in cl spots in the "premier" league.

truth is that they have been terrible for the last decade and are the truly embodiment of JUST
