I've made this comparison before. There are so many parallels here that it is ridiculous. Obviously both nations have an obscene amount of talent in the youth level but never seem to crack top players or develop cohesive teams that succeed at the highest level.

While the mexican league is light years away in many aspects from the argie league, I think the average level of clubs in mexico is higher than argentina.

Your league is made to sell players, the clubs depend on it, while the mexican league is based on buying players, we've even had a few who played for Argentina's national team. Your top 2 teams can probably beat our top 2 teams 90% of the time but those top argie squads will get torn apart by european and mexican teams as soon as soon as they start to be succesful. So that leaves most argie clubs with mix of really young players and shit tier players like Palermo, Schelotto, Cavenaghi or Rolfi Montenegro, while even the shitiest mexican team can sign a good player from Argentina. It's a horrible system for development but it does give the league a higher level
