>Sub out Jonathan for rafael fucking marquez

He was trying to create order on the defense, also Jonathan was burned out from all the running the mofo did the whole match

I would also add:
>giving playing time to Layun when the guy barelly played in 3 months
>still lining-up Herrera AND using him out of position
Martinolli is right; the Osorio has a fetish for him. The guy has been a train wreck since the WC
>0 minutes to Peralta
a guy who shines on these kind of matches

>>76842051
>Player rotations
>On a fucking National Team
>""""perfect""""

The players only have 14 matches a year to know each other and build chemistry. Is he trying to make everybody happy by giving them playing time?, utterly retarded. Only the players on form should play

Still, the players are the ones that make the mistakes on the pitch
>>
>>76842905
You really just don't want to think Mexico ever has or will have a chance. I want you to think of what that cunt Dunga was doing to your team, and instead of people calling him out, they just kept calling the players shit. Now with Tite, you're dominating more or less with the same players apart from a couple of changes, and all of a sudden the players aren't shit. Osorio is doing what Dunga did for years with Brazil.
>>
>>76842905
It's very obvious Mexico's talent is not even close to the elite teams but we're not used to getting trashed this way
>>
>>76842955
Not he isn't. He's only problem is meme rotations. And don't compare him to Dunga ffs. Dunga was never coach, I mean literally. Jorginho was our secret coach in 2010.

Mexico has a shot, always had, may I remind you that since 94 only Mexico, Brazil and Germany passed the group stage in every edition? But those players you had right now.. seriously, you need more quality, and that only comes with time. I'm seriously hoping they don't fire him. He needs TIME.

Players fault, still funny

>>76842905
Losing against Germany?, ok
Losing against Chile?, ok
Losing against Portugal?, ok
Losing 6 - 0?, not ok.

It's not if Mexico lost or not, it's the how, and holy shit they are playing terribly and the tactics of the Osorio have 50% of the blame, why not park the bus when you're losing 3 - 0 against a great NT?, it's over for a team of the quality of ours. . We could have easily losed 6 - 0 against Germany today.
>>
>>76842990
>He needs TIME
you just want Mexico to fail more

The players aren't bad. Did you even watch the game? They were able to push up and create opportunities purely on the player's skill, and every rotation and substitution he went and killed the team more and more. It's as if he wanted Mexico to lose. He took off Mexico's best player in the first half for 0 reason other than muh everyone gets to play ideology.
>>
>>76843028
I must add that all Haiti players are full time carpenters n' shit
>>
>>76843044
>The players aren't bad.

Alanis and Aquino literally gave Germany 2 goals in 8 min. Want to talk about that?
>>
>>76842990
This team is supposed to be our golden generation m8. They haven't lived up to the hype but iff they can't do it, nobody can. The same players, younger and with a good coach had a decent world cup in 2014. Osorio would've got BTFO by Brazil and Croatia
>>
>>76843028
He can't park the bus m8, you don't go from full Sampoli-Bielsa-Poop or whatever to full Mourinho like that. Coaches aren't that versatile.

I understand that when he loses, he does it badly. But when he wins, it's normally playing good foot. It's not what is happening right now, but it was the case at some point, wasn't? Again, he needs time.
>>
>>76842754

Who is still stupid nigger that gets in his feelings over Osorio? Chile and Germany completely destroyed Mexico. Yes they are better teams but not 4 and 7 goals better. There was no fight or plan
>>
>>76843097
>But when he wins, it's normally playing good foot

You clearly have not watched a single game with Osorio in charge. He's won with lucky mistakes or good goals based on one player's talent (usually Vela)
>>
>Hugo Sanchez gets fired because some meme players forced on him by the fed choke super hard and can't make it to the olympics
>Piojo got fired because he's a filthy pleb, not because of performance

>>
>>76843073

>>
>>76843124
You clearly stopped on that line and didn't read the rest.
>>
>>76842905
this coming from the one country that ALWAYS gets embarrassed by Mexico
>>
>>76843073
A defense should never be rotated during a tournament and he played like 5 different CBs. The defense was abysmal but the manager did anything to help. Alanis isn't a fullback yet he was played there for some fucking retarded reason, and Aquino wasn't at fault for the goals, and he spent quite a bit of time up front putting some crosses in. Moreno and Araujo were more at fault but they didn't even play together all tournament and their attempts at offsides were fucking pathetic and they had no chemistry at all.

>>76843097
He has never won playing good football. All of his qualification wins come from sheer power but Mexico never looked stable, even against games with Canada or Honduras. He also gets away with plenty of 1 goal wins against opponents which Mexico should walk on.

It seems to me Mexico needs better strikers. Chicharito is not really a good striker. He doesnt know how maneuver himself with the ball and relys on his teammates to pass him the ball.

Why would i know? im just a burger.
>>
>>76843153
>A defense should never be rotated during a tournament and he played like 5 different CBs.
Agree. Those rotations are just retard.

>and Aquino wasn't at fault for the goals
He was, Germany was always putting 2vs1 on Alanis side.

>He has never won playing good footbal
He did in his first games.
>>
>>76843137
Name one (1) game when Mexico played "good" football
>>
>>76843127
7-0, 4-1, and the incoming loss at the Gold Cup should be more than enough controversy to kick him out. Bring Piojo or something, he clearly did well and deserves a second opportunity.
>>
>>76843162
he's been getting better this year and stopped just being a useless goal poacher.
the problem is that osorio decided to play >our other striker as a winger and left >our attack without cohesion.
>>
>>76843097
>Again, he needs time.
Ask the Mexicans in this thread how many managers they've had since the 90s.

Then ask the Germans how many they've had since the 40s.

These idiots will never learn, and they will never make it to their coveted "quinto partido." And they think Sampaoli and Bielsa will ever waste their time with that shitty job.

Maybe they can throw money at Tata Martino...

>>76843196
the thing is though, osorio's just not that great of a coach. if you want to make a long term plan to better the team, you have to have a decent coach.
maybe this is what they were going for with piojo, but he barely qualifies as a decent coach.
>>
>>76843210

To cruise through Concacaf. Getting BTFO out by the best teams in Conmebol and UEFA is exactly what you deserve.

Know your place and stop shifting the blame to the foreigner. You don't deserve a first-rate foreigner, so you got a second-rate one.

Agreed, mate. Osorio is not a first-rate manager; they all turned down Mexico. All the money in the world won't make a first-rate international manager tolerate the shit-show that is the FMF and their fans.
>>
>>76843196
They were perfectly fine with Herrera, but the media basically had him kicked out and neither the people nor the players could do anything about it. You can't blame the Mexicans on that.

>>76843220

>>
>>76843276
>They were perfectly fine with Herrera, but...
Then he was a retard who couldn't keep his head. There is a reason he hasn't kept a job for more than 3 years at a time.

HE IS NOT A REAL MANAGER. HE IS THE MEMESHIT THAT MEXICO DESERVES.
>>
Also, why does Mexico still field Ochoa? What happened to the kid in cola America? Didn't Ochoa set a record of conceding goals in la liga?
>>
>>76843329
>There is a reason he hasn't kept a job for more than 3 years at a time.

>>
>>76843315
Pizzi or Tata is what you'll get. Osorio was a desperate gamble.

I will say that it's no coincidence that the best mangers in Concacaf are Colombians (Gomez and Pinto)--Argentines and Brazilians won't touch that shit. Is Lobo Zagalo still available?
>>
>>76843304
No computer m8 and games where at a horrible time. I remember I woke up like at something like 5 am, saw the game against Chile was 4-0, thought it had finished...then started to refresh and the horror started

>>
>>76843347

>>
>>76843330
Ochoa also set a record for most saves. This is not even for debate, there is no better keeper in Mexico than him. What they should do is get rid of fucking Talavera completely and give that spot to Cota.

>>76843350

>>
>>76843301
No one expects Mexico to compete with the best and win most of the time. Mexico doesn't lose 7-0 against a team like Chile. Piojo was mediocre, but at least he kept the team rotation stables and didnt fuck around with putting players out of position

The mexican national team is so predictable. That is why teams force them out wide and make them cross the ball, cause they are awful. That is basically how the US tied against you guys. Force you to play out wide and bunker, then counter attack.

Someone that actually plays with the Mexican NT weaknesses on his mind and someone that chooses on form players based on merit instead of people like Gio that are only called for his goal against USA on 2011 and the one against Netherlands on 2014.

Sadly, Marco Fabian scored a goal today, he hasn't played a single good game since his debut on 2013 but that goal alone is worth 40 call ups for at least 3 years.

Did Bielsa ever lose 7-0? Did Bielsa win most games by hoofing balls, lucky runs by a single player and against shit opposition?
>>

he probably unironically thought he had better passing than vela and that vela is lazy

this
chile have workhorses and talent like alexis, medel, and videl who actually love playing for the national team
from what i can tell, beans don't like to play for their team and from what i've read on here, they're always involved in tranny scandals and shit
>>
>>76844223
Players like Corona and Vela have that type of talent though
>>
>>76844259
vela doesn't have the workhorse mentality that he's talking about it, but his talent more than makes up for it.
unironically, luis reyes, in the one game he played, showed more enthusiasm for the team than almost anyone else.
>>
>>76843814
>Good coach that got fucked by the media for headlines
More like he became a sellout, which is a thing that CONCACAF likes so much, it doesnt hel that he got triggered so easily by Martinolli and his retarded daughter attitude didnt help either
>>
>>76843446
>what first-rate managers turned down mexico?
Sampaoli and Bielsa both said no thank you. Osorio was their 3rd or 4th choice.
>>
>>76844407
He got triggered because of his retarded daughter, she acted like an idiot, Martinolli fatshamed her and Piojo got mad
>>
>>76843814
Those are all shit coaches. The fact that those are the names you could come up with is indicative of how slim the pickings are.

CERO VELA

>>76843365
kek, >we had one or two good managers, Rueda is pretty good, Pinto was in Costa Rica for the last WC, and iirc Suarez wasn't that bad in concacaf, still, argies/italians are the right choice, always
>>
>>76844489
Colombian coaches are pretty good, but still several notches below Argentina/Italy. Still ahead of anything produced by any other country in the Americas (outside of Argentina and the occasional Uruguayan or Brazilian).
>>
>>76844259
there is a reason why Arsenal are dying to keep Alexis while they didn't give a fuck when Vela left, none of your players have the talent of those 4
>>
>>76844562
Its not talent but work ethic. Literally everyone who knows a shit about Vela his lack of passion for the sport.

He did good at subbing Marquez in, fucking hell he had clearer chances in 15 minutes than chicha the whole match, also the midfield felt more compact and organized.

It's both.

Who would you call as a coach after the inevitable 2018 world cup blunder?

I'd like someone who

>Has managed a LigaMX team for at least two years
>Knows how to win a tournament (has won anything at any point)
>Preferably willing to live in Mexico
>Uses ZERO meme tactics a la Osorio, Brendan Rodgers, Van Gaal.
>Has no inferiority complex, and knows how to handle critics.
>>
>>76844687
excepto >>76844693

m8, Osorio was crap in Millonarios too, but when he was in Nacional somehow he was hyped to the sky, the reason? this is a one team league (maybe two with Santafe, but now they are shit again), mexicans took the bait and now he is just memeing with there team

there is a way to make mexico more successful, stop buying southamerican players! use your youngsters, for some reason the mexican league is full of colombians, argies and ecuadorians; this generation is terrible so wait for at least another 10 years
>>
>>76844724
>staying for the WC
please no, how's the reception to this in mexico?
any realistic chances of this clown getting sacked/leaving? there was a poll on the univision show and 78% of people want him gone kek.
i also saw that he said he didn't want to talk to any media earlier.
>>
>>76844760
their team*
>>
>>76844724
I'd like an elite foreign coach. Sampaoli would be the GOAT choice but he will probably have better offers. However I'd much rather have someone like Almeyda or Herrera instead of another ex Puebla coach
>>
>>76844724
...... Almeyda? LaVolpe? El Turco Mohamed?
>>
>>76844760
actually a great answer
>>
>>76844760
>this generation is terrible
well, lad, I have something to tell you..

Btw Osorio was good here. As soon as he came São Paulo decided to sell 9 players (not even kidding) and he still managed to put the team on tracks to qualify to copalib somehow (he left before the league end).

His major problem was: when he lost, it was always devastating, just like the games against Chile and Germany. And he couldn't handle the press too, but for that I give him a credit, since he was in a foreign country with different language, culture etc.

If he's a meme, we fell for that too.
>>
>>76844812
Osorio just has the weirdest tactics ever.
>>
>>76844812
Wasn't that Sao Paulo team stacked?
>>
>>76844825
Kek, not even close. And like I say, they decided to sell half of their team without putting any replacements. It was a really dick move by the board.

That's why Osorio didn't think twice when Mexico offered him a job.
>>
>>76844789
it's so fucking obvious, I mean between the 4 strongest leagues in the world there is only one with almost zero restrictions for foreigners, and guess which one has the worst NT, even >us, a shitty league with no money, had to put restrictions
>>
>>76844687

>>76844773
It seems inevitable now, and I think it's correct. A coach change would be devastating to the players morale.

>>76844782
Almeyda should remain in Chivas and keep pushing mexican players to their limits for another year at least.
I also think we didn't give Vucetich the fair chance he deserved, he had to put together a team in 2 days, at a time when clubs didn't want to hand over their players because muh fatigue.

>>76844788
Turco would actually be a great fit I think. LaVolpe's tactics have wore off.
>>
>>76844821
Indeed, he has. Meme rotations were ok here, but put players in all kinds of different positions is just retard.

Some players have complained about it. He usually would train player X as a winger during the week and then play him as a fullback, or else, train as a midfielder and then put him as a centre back. Those things..
>>
>>76844854
>"Osorio dice que no se arrepiente de no traer un contención natural, falta autocrítica"
That wasn't common here. He would usually be 100% realistic about his mistakes and also take all the blame, even when wasn't his fault.

I was surprised as well, he was very talkative and honest and humble about his mistakes prior to this cup, then after that Portugal match it seems he went kind of mental

>Yep, we could have won this match Easily.... THE CHAMPION OF EUROPE
>may I remind you we almost beat THE CHAMPION OF EUROPE?

and only went downhill from there
>>
>>76844851
We used to have good restrictions (5 per team) but then everyone started to get a mexican passport and now we have the most idiotic rule that makes some mexicans count as foreign players while foreign players can count as mexicans (they have to be registered before a certain age). Also the limit is way too high, a lot of teams play with 8 foreign players and have 15 in their squad
>>
>>76844854
>I also think we didn't give Vucetich the fair chance he deserved, he had to put together a team in 2 days, at a time when clubs didn't want to hand over their players because muh fatigue.

So you're saying that it's bad for Mexican players to test themselves in Europe? I understand the issue with foreign players in Liga MX (although you seem to be ignoring the economic impact) but how can you possibly argue that competing with the world's best is bad for the NT?
>>
>>76844941

Sorry for México, I wanted an american final match.

>>
>>76845035
How can anyone want to have their players stay in an inferior league over playing in europe? Can you imagine if pulisic never developed in europe and spent his time in mls? he'd be another dime a dozen player.

>>76845046
You have no idea what youre talking about. There is nothing positive about staying in liga mx. A player like Lozano is being wasted and his skillset is not good enough to be a starter for Mexico
>>
>>76845090
That's my point exactly m8.
>>
>>76844988

HAH LigaMX is not MLS sorry love
Borussia Dortmund is not Olympiakos
Borussia Dortmund is not Malaga
Borussia Dortmund is not Watford
i'd rather see another Lozano win another championship here in Mexico and getting to know Mexican play style than watching him play at age 19 for Celta de Vigo

thank god he's going to PSV
>>
>>76845126
>LigaMX is not MLS sorry love
Yeah I know. I watch more Liga muy X than Mlels. The league is not the level of any team current team Mexicans in europe is playing. This is why no youngster that won a youth tournament went anywhere. Just like the country liga mx is mediocre
>>
>>76845046
>More Mexican players that stay here instead of going to second division second tier Europe leagues early
I appreciate the clarification, but I still disagree with you. The younger they leave, the better. It's the best choice for virtually every country in the world.
>>
>>76845126
>Borussia Dortmund is not Malaga
>Borussia Dortmund is not Watford
I'd rather my players compete in mid to lower-end EPL and La Liga clubs than on some stacked MX side. I understand your desire to see a strong national league, but it shouldn't be at the expense of NT development, and that is best achieved through competition.
>>
>>76843945
This is why Vela didn't play for Mexico al those years for stupid shit like this.
>>
>>76844760
Liga MX is the premier league of concacaf. At least MLS has rules to stop shit like that from happening.
>>
>>76842990
Osorio is fucking shit stop being a retard
>>
>>76844812
São Paulo was out of copalib qualification when he left, his replacement was the one who put them there.
