Rolling for winner
hi
is fucking scott lagasee the first non-earnhardt or childress spawn to drive the 3 since Sr was alive?

There were two guys driving the 3 in trucks in 2001
>>76745400
>Cold Custard
I believe it.
>no cup drivers

Does Hornish just not wanna drive full time anymore? I mean he's not great, but he could contend for a championship in the 12 if he ran a full Xfinity schedule. I know they use cup guys in the 22 for the owner's championship...
>>76745571

>>76745772
I don't think anyone here genuinely likes Logan O or Bread. We're just happy when they wreck Kryle.
>>76745882
Whenever I'm playing iRacing everyone gets excited if Logano qualifies well and/or is winning or close to winning. Sure, it's a circlejerk but it's a 3000 oval racers circlejerk and that's quite the demographics.

>>76745974

Why the fuck aren't they at based Sonoma? I know it's great for the series to run it's own races so the cup fags can't ruin it, but why skip Sonoma??

>>76746280
apparently he's really good at video games
Not feeling so good about Bowman's chances to get the 88 anymore. There's apparently a lot of interest in that seat.
But Rick trusted Gordon when it came to an unknown Jimmie. Gotta wonder if he'll trust Jr with Bowman. If Jr has shown anything as an owner it's that he can spot young talent.
I just hope it doesn't go to like Kenseth or someone at the end of the road. That'd be a slap in the face to Jr fans.
I think the 88 fanbase would love Bowman or another young likable talent in the car.
>>76746280
Hes the top rated short track driver for the last 2 years according to speed51
>>76746309

I've been telling you faggots this for months now
>>76746280
iRacing works!
Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but no safer barrier here?
>>76746309
It's going to be Carl or one of the young guys currently in cup.
>>76746280
money works!
>>76745571
He works in the school that his kids go, he seems happy to race from time to time
>>76746343
No, on every wall, not just the corners like some tracks.
>>76746358
Chip won't let Larson go. And why would Larson go?
Roger isn't gonna let Blaney get away.
Those are the only two young guys in cup that Rick would want imo.
But it could be Carl for sure. And Kenseth would be the safest pick ever.
But I want Bowman. Jr wants Bowman. I think most of Jr's fanbase wants Bowman.
>>76746343
There's definitely a safer barrier. IIRC Iowa was the first track to install safer barriers on all the walls.
>>76746360
his family doesnt have much money but hes been sponsored by iracing his whole career kind of like larson and keith kunz
>>76746401
Ah ok I see it now. yea I just noticed the wall was the same down the straightaways and in the corners.
>>76746410
Jr will get Bowman in there after next season
Carl will hop over to the 5 when Kissy gets the boot
You'll then have a Bowman, Chase, Carl, Gimmie Hendrick program
Ray Black Jr is back! Rolling for the lap he spins himself out.
I've noticed Bowman is at the track and in the 88 pit for a lot of races. During practices and pre race shows I've seen him debriefing with Jr and Greg when he gets outta the car a lot. That's pretty telling.
>>76746309
Right now it's Kenseth. The 20 has been largely unsponsored now that Dollar General is gone. When they run the Toyota Cares scheme it means they might as well be unsponsored.
Brad still hasn't signed an extension with Penske but that's because he's a fucking weirdo. The only reason he goes to the 88 is because there's some sponsorship thing with Miller that is delaying everything.
It's gonna be Kenseth for a year and then Byron. Screencap this.
>>76746495
He is HMS's test driver so he has to be in the debriefings, if any of the drivers had a problem he has to be ready to step in the car
>>76746505
Nationwide is a god tier sponsor and they're not gonna bail with Jr retiring. I don't think they'd want a rental. If it's gonna be Byron, put him in the 88 next year. I think Byron is gonna end up in the 5 in 2019 tho.

Nascar doesn't have a splitter problem, they have a viewer problem. People aren't tuning in anymore. One way I would fix this if I were France would be to change up the format to bring more excitement to the races. Various different lap segments and mandatory cautions, plus even 3 wide restarts on certain tracks would do it. Another format change I would try is starting the field from slowest to fastest, but not tell the competitors when it'll happen so they can't sandbag in quals. Also gotta change way more day races to night races. I realize not all tracks have lights, but the drivers could always race with their headlights on at those tracks.

Is it weird that NASCAR needs Xfinity and Trucks to be profitable for team owners? Hear me out.
The D-League and WNBA aren't profitable for the NBA, but it's business w/WNBA and developing talent in D-League. Single A to triple A isn't super profitable for MLB teams but they're developing talent there.
There should be more contractual obligations that force the money making teams to invest in the lower series as a means of development. Now there's a few teams who really don't give a shit and just pluck an up and comer from a different program every now and again.

>>76748767
There's a very good chance it happens. I think Penske is all in on Blaney and will make sure to field a car for him next year. Wood Bros will continue their development role and take on Bubba who will either fail out, become the 4th Penske team, or become a driver on another cup team.
Either way, Wood Bros aren't into long term drivers. They like developing.

That there isn't talent in this series w/o cup guys is a bogus myth. These guys are wheeling the fuck out of it right now.
>>76749201
Oh definitely not. What would make you say such a thing?
>>76749047
Really surprised none of them sponsor NASCAR desu.
Microsoft only serves a small role.
What would happen if i throw a cactus onto the track?
>/Under20togo/ cawshun
LET'S MEME A RYAN SIEG WIN
SHADILAY BROTHERS
>>76749243
Microsoft's deal is more B2B. They want Hendrick to use their computers more than they want to put their name on a car.
>>76749186
It really is the biz side that nascar fails in. At corporate and team level.
They need to outsource their marketing.
I mean shit, Google and Apple are literally giving away billions atm just to avoid their inevitable antitrust suit. That NASCAR hasn't even knocked on their door is inexcusable.
>>76749108
Good to see him shitposting mid race.
Dubs and Sieg wins
>>76749201
Even though it would be a sell out, it only has ~30,000 capacity

Ryan Sieg is the real winner today.
Runner up is Regan Smith.
>>76749360

Ryan Sieg is going to win a race eventually. He may be the most overachieving driver of his time.
>>76749499

squilliam got revenge hell Yeah man
>>76749520
Sieg is a favorite of mine. I'd like to see him win Daytona or Talladega.
>>76749520
I really wish JRM or RCR would put him in a car
>>76749377
She's a fucking weeb and NASCAR fan kek. She's probably in this thread.
In b4 Sieg wins at Daytona next week. Hell, he was about a block away from taking the lead with 1 to go last year.
Annett is shit but got a p6
Holy shit Sieg seems like a massive sperg, is he truly /ourguy/?
>>76749585
Seig Heil is absolutely 100% /ourguy/
Who's LW?
Good to see Chastain up front plugging watermelons.
>>76749585
What else can you say when you steal a second place finish?
>>76749585
He's probably bugging out that he finished that well. A lot of guys probably are.
>Chastain 4th
>Armstrong 5th
>Clements 7th
>Smithley 10th
>Martins 11th
>Hoff 12th
Tomorrow could turn into a fuel mileage race and if it does, and you are picking a long shot DK team, the 88, the 14 and the 27 are very good picks. All 3 are better than average at this track and all 3 take care of their shit.
Larson and McMurray are favs if it plays out normally. But both are so aggressive I doubt either work on long runs or a fuel mileage scenario.
He has great odds, but if you're gonna spend up do it on Kyle. I don't think he'll win, but I'd almost guarantee he gets a top 5 tomorrow.
man this this is so fun with no cup drivers
>>76749024
>Its funny how Gibbs is all christian and puts on this big act but he is a greasy cheater in reality
Christians are humongous hypocrites??

>>76750824
Larson does not have the road course racing chops to pull this shit off.
He will fuck it up at some point.
Nobody will compete with McFlurry afterwards
Book it.
