They got used to get pandered by bandwagoneers and the media for statpadding in Brasileirão, and the fact that you guys would throw millions at them for it. The clubs and player agents noticed this pattern, and began to induce and back up this behavior, manipulating the youth academies into creating players with the sole purpose of "being sold to european clubs". Some of this players are good, but the majority is pure shite who only deliver on sub20 stages.

At least until the '00s, only the really good players would leave... Hell, we had so many good players that some of them even refused european sides. We could fill 2 or 3 full NTs with worldclass talent and some guys would be out of it. Then we took a dark turn for these days. Blame the cash-hungry clubs and player agents.
