So Di Maria has been sentenced to one year in prison for stealing taxes from the Spanish state.
Why are Argentines so disgusting lying cheats? And it's always people from Rosario. Maradona, Messi and now Di Maria. Ugly lying assholes.
t. Uli "Hear no evil, see no evil" Hoeneß

What Hoeneß did was understandable, have you ever seen what the German government spends our taxes on?
rich people don't actually go to prison mate (at least outside of germany and austria)
>>76674735
But being a millionaire and not paying taxes in a third world country like Spain is just straight robbery. There are people from Spain here on /sp/ who will go to bed hungry tonight. You can't say the same of Germany where Hoeneß has not damaged the personal life of any German.

Funny story.
That Audi R8 in that picture got sold to a dealership after Di Maria left and a drugdealer bought it all in cash.
The police SWATed the drug dealer and now that same R8 is used as a PR vehicle.

that story wasnt that funny tb h
So does this '2 year suspended' law apply to everybody or is it only something that rich people who can afford lawyers get?
It feels like a joke. Di Maria didn't owe that much but someone like Ronaldo who owes 15 million should definitely go to jail.
>>76674920
It's funny because OP's pic was a prank.
>>76674755
He did large-scale speculations with money that just wasn't his. How can you defend this?
>>76674746
>you now remember when Kartnig got an ankle monitor for his curfew but went to the opera anyway
>gets warned by the authorities not to do it again
>just a few days later he throws a lavish party in some hotel and has to go to prison again
Even the criminals are total memes around here
>>76674746
the federal govt here will put you in jail no problem even if you have money or power. money gets you better lawyers therefore a more competent legal team but the feds have something like a 98% conviction rate.
I'm not talking about the individual states (who make up most of the legal system). that varies.
but if you're poor then you're screwed. no way around that.

>general attorney of the state who was a directive in Real Madrid during Folrentino's first era gets fired
>suddenly a bunch of Real Madrid players get tax fraud accusations
really makes me think
>>76674953
everybody, you still get criminal record though
>>76674755
no rich person pays taxes in Spain desu, even most people try to do shady stuff to pay less
>>76674755
taxation is literally theft
>>76675440
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRmGyUGUxq8
only poor people try to evade taxes, rich do tax optimization and creative bookkeeping
>>76675292
You don't remember how MJ evaded jail time?
>>76676786
MJ was on a different level tbf
>>76674953
It's the same in Portugal.
It's to avoid sending people to jail for petty one time crimes. Because it has been proven that stints in jail for this type of criminal only improves their criminal knowledge and abilities.
It's really easy to avoid tax, how stupid can someone be?
>>76677250
How
>>76674953
Its a good law to be honest.
And CR7 is innocent btw, just read the case, It is blatantly obvious.
>>76677320
gimme your money and ill show you
>>76677250
They get caught because what they do is legal in other countries but no in Spain. When you become a spanish resident you must pay spanish tax on all income earned worldwide even if it has already been taxed, it's amusing how footballers' accountants don't know this.
