Ofc stamina is important. But skill is even a bigger factor.
I'd say Football is 1/3 skill, 1/3 physical, 1/3 mind (tactics), whereas in some other sports it's like 75% (cycling) or even 95% physical (lifting)
Doping can only upgrade your physical performance, in football it helps, but doesn't definitively gives you dominance if you're behind in skill and tactics

Not true, athleticism is extremely important in the youth leagues. Being stronger+taller than your peers gives you a huge benefit there. Reus was kicked out at Dortmund because they deemed him too small and too weak, we only know of him because he made it anyway but many others don't... Doping in professional football makes a big difference. The level of skill with the top players is quite even. For example: real, barca and bayern. If Real uses doping and barca and bayern are clean then Real will have a big advantage over the other two. The skill level remains the same, but Real will be able to maintain stamina for a longer period. If a team is less tired they will make less mistakes on skill.
