One big thing I try to do is to not dwell on things that I cannot control or change.
KD went to the Warriors. It happened. We cannot change that. However, instead of bitching and moaning with the masses, I decided to do something that a lot of people need to do -- appreciate great basketball.
We are all here because we love basketball, and like it or not, the Warriors are playing basketball better than we've ever seen it before -- and it may never be topped.
I wasn't alive for Wilt, Kareem and so many other greats, but I am alive for these Warriors, and you're damn sure I'm going to appreciate them.
Mental health has always been a struggle of mine, and I've been in quite a rough depression patch for the last couple of weeks. Very little seems to help me at all during these trying times, but you know what has helped immensely on two separate occasions recently? The Warriors. So many times last night they left me smiling and speechless. I appreciated it greatly.
This team is so special and it's a pleasure to watch. Could they win on talent alone? Probably. But then they wouldn't be special.
Instead, we have the super team to end all super teams and these guys are out there sharing the ball and locking dudes down as if they are a rotational players for San Antonio. They are playing basketball at the absolute highest level and it is such a pleasure to watch.
Time machines don't exist. The Warriors have created a dynasty that should dominate the league for the next few years. Do yourself a favor and make those years easy on yourself by enjoying amazing basketball. You don't want to be 60 years old regretting how you didn't appreciate what will go down as the greatest team to ever set foot in the NBA.

>appreciate great basketball.
most people here don't think it's good basketball and would rather watch teams hold onto the ball for the entire shot clock and then go for a layup while flopping for a foul so you can shoot free throws.
>great basketball
>3 v 5

But the team with 3 is beating the team with 5.
