Getting a DUI is one of the worst things that average person can get hit with. Fucking everyone drives tipsy in their life, but the 10k fine, losing your license for 6 months to a year, getting a lawyer, community service, points on your license, going to jail for a few days, court costs. Plus most decent jobs will not hire you if it's on your record and it stays for years. They basically make your life a living hell where you almost wish you were in prison.

If in doubt, always get an uber. Even if it means your car will get towed the next day, it beats the fuck out of a dui ticket.
