Nibali is really good. Sagan is better. Izagirre is better. Dumoulin did that descent the other day quicker. Amador is probably better. Bardet might well be better.

He did. Before that everyone said Nairo, Contador, and Nibali should attack him on the descents. Wiggins was an awful descender so of course Froome must be too!

We know Nibali, Sagan, Kwiat, Bardet, Izagirre and the likes are really good because we've seen it, but truthfully we never see the majority of the peloton do it.

I'd be surprised if anyone can go downhill faster than Stannard, but he's not a climber so he's rarely on camera doing it.

Wout Van Aert and Mathieu Van Der Poel are in it though, that's kinda cool. (They are the two most recent cyclocross world champions both interested in going on the road, and both still very young. I personally think Van Der Poel is superior and has a brighter road future than Van Aert, but that's definitely one to follow)
