SPORTS POWER RANKINGS
1. NFL: best structure, best test of skill, best test of athleticism and best test of teamwork/coaching. Seasons are perfectly paced and upsets can occur but are born more out of strategy.
2. NBA: Great structure although season is too long. Only the most athletically gifted can play. Best team usually wins. Also, the timing system is perfectly paced.
3. MLB: Fucking ingenious sport that is unique. There are so many little nuances to the game that make it interesting. However, there's too much luck. Also, fat people can play. Still, the playoffs are always amazing to watch and the intricacies of the sport really make it standout
3. Soccer: Must be athletic but not freakish athlete like two above. playoffs can be thrillers where the best team rises to the top but there is still suspense. Very few commercials but clock structure and pacing of the game is dreadful to watch. Hard to watch unless you're from a poor country with no other sport to look up to in your time zone.
5. Hockey: It's like soccer but ten times worse because its ten times more plodding and ugly. Zero synergy. Little room to build up suspense. Fucking awful.
