Because their federation is corrupt. In a decade MLS will overtake Liga mx with the better academies they are creating. I unironically hear more about MLS academy products in Europe (Miazga, Palmer Brown, Haji Wright etc) than mexican academy kids. You are witnessing the decline of Mexican football and the rise of MLS/USA. We will go from being a top 20 nation to a top 10 relatively soon.
