Whats your honest assessment on his first season back in England

he's honestly been a mixed bag. He will never justify the pricetag but literally only someone on Ronaldo/Bale's level ever would. Been great at times but also been a complete shitout at times.

This post will get lost though in the endless shitposting about him.

He was alright overall with a few moments of brilliance. Took him a long time to adapt and that will be an issue going forward since being in a top 6 team in England means constantly changing who you're playing for and with.

He's not had a bad season and I think he's one of the best all rounder midfielders (Vidal, Pjanic and Kroos are better) but I'd say he has the potential to be the best.

Positives
-Passing and through balls are incredible
-Physically stronger now
-Has a good shot
-Starting to dictate matches and control the flow of them
-Calmed down on the meme flicks recently
-Dabbing has grown on me desu

Negatives
-Bad luck (hit the bar 1,000,000 times)
-Lax at defending even though he can do it
-Big matches. He's began to pick up in this aspect but overall is been pretty shocking and that Liverpool match sticks in the mind
-Still prone to the odd meme trick going wrong
-Costing £100m (it's not my money though so I couldn't give a fuck desu)

Pogba is a specialist player. If he can't play on the left of a midfield 3 with license to roam he's totally useless. Hopefully Mourinho never realises this.

He's been decent but he'll never reach the expectations as the most expensive player in history. I doubt any player in his role could. He's more of a 30m player. In the games where he hasn't played there's a clear lack of incisiveness and drive from midfield so he's more important to United than people think.

His finishing needs serious improvement though. Can think of at least 10 opportunities he's squandered.
