The FA should decide what they want. If it is a proper scheduled event that happens on the last day, then it has to be treated like it matters and televised. If it's not important enough to be televised, then give it to the team at their first home game (if it is an away game, otherwise asap) and treat like it's nothing that deserve it's own day.

The worst thing is that the last two Chelsea games were televised.

there's a quota of games for each team that have to be shown, and you have to pay each club extra for each fixture you show that they feature in. so the liverpool vs boro game adds to boro's fixture count, and it's a massive fixture in the context of the only thing left to play for (last 2 CL spots) so sky want to show it.
