What's the most humiliating loss /sp/ has ever seen? (Any sport)
Last nights game was pretty good for that.

7-1 will never be topped desu
>soccer powerhouse hosting the world cup
>country doesn't really have anything to look forward to other than their national soccer team possibly winning the cup on home turf
>get absolutely dominated in humiliating fashion
Boston getting blown out last night isn't embarrassing, its expected
>>76024616
Dallas getting blown out 44-6 week 17 of the 2008 NFL regular season by the Eagles.

IS IF THEY LOST TO ICELAND
TWICE

AND FAILED TO QUALIFY
I was at this game and it was just an unbelievable beatdown
I actually left early for the first time in my life, I was just drunk as hell and my friend and I decided there was no reason to continue cheering on a live rape

>Play the 07 pats
>Be the 07 Titans
>Snow game
>Brady throws 5 TDs
>In the first quarter
>Belichick calls off the dogs
>Brady throws another TD pass and calls it a day in the middle the third quarter
>Brian hoyer runs another one in
>Titans lose 59-0 knowing it could have been far worse
Absolutely btfo to the max
7-1. because the whole world was watching. a NBA or NFL loss won't really be witnessed or cared about outside North America

Personally, i enjoyed more enlels loosing to part-time dentists.
Conor knocking out Aldo in 13 seconds

super bowl 51 was pretty insane
one side went from full on gloating to crying the other went from dead quiet to screaming all in about 30 minutes
>>76026035
Literally came into this thread to post this
After several months of absolutely one-sided bullying and verbal abuse, the meme comes true and the featherweight division is ruined forever in 13 seconds.
Not to mention the fact that Aldo was at the time regarded as one of the top 5 best P4P fighters in the UFC.
I never felt more numb
Ronda Rosuey's second consecutive loss. Wasn't really a blowout, but definitely humiliating. Thought she might kill herself after that one.
TBF the Celtics should be a lottery team but they got lucky

Game 6, Spurs-Heat
That game was over. San Antonio were champions. They had already begun celebrating. The tape was brought out. The trophy was wheeled out. The champagne was in the Spurs locker room.
Then LeBron hits a three, the Spurs choke at the line, then Ray Allen ties the game.
Even though they still had to play a Game 7, the championship was lost right at that moment for San Antonio.

Don't even watch povertyball but due to he scale of the match and the context, this can really be the only answer imo
>>76033121
No one expected the Falcons to win though. Super Bowl 48 might be a worse loss than that.
>>76025922
Except 7-1 wasn't witnessed or cared about by anyone in America.
NBA and NFL losses are more painful because people who matter see them.
>>76036434
>Except 7-1 wasn't witnessed or cared about by anyone in America.

The WC & Olympics are like the only time ppl in America care about soccer.
7-1 of course:
>Brazil going into an economic crisis just to fund the cup
>their biggest loss in 90 years
>the last time they were defeated in an official match at home was in the 70s
>the ghost of Maracanazo
The only people who would mention anything but 7-1 are Americans talking about sports nobody cares about.

BUILD WALL
>>76036986
are you upset because only people from your country enjoy watching sweaty minorities in spandex fondling each other?
>>76036356
But it looked over by halftime.
It was kind of funny actually because I a Colts fan was watching with a Jets fan and after that first Patriots td we looked at each other and both knew they were gonna somehow win the game

I don't know. Germany was/is a very good team. If Brazil lost to Oman 7-1 than that would be really humiliating

quit /sp/ cold turkey
Nothing can compete with 7-1.
Besides that, maybe France defeat to Senegal in 2002. Never a standing champion, with a team so stacked (basically 1998 team but better, best strikers of EPL, Ligue 1 & Serie A), was beaten this way. It would start long years of humiliation for France.
