Surely they're one of the favourites for the champions league next season?
>>76018262
If they can keep their squad together I unironically think: no.

>pic unrelated

>>76018262
I support spurs and even i say no
>>76018262
>tfw spuds are eliminated in group stage again

>Doing well on the Wembley pitch
Pick one and only one.
>>76018262
CL has no meaning, literally a tad better than EL.. EPL is where the money is
>>76018262
KAA GENT
>*teleports behind you*
sure as long as they have the boss in charge who proves you don't need trophies to be a winner but he is a winner
Literally no desu senpai
Second favourites after Arsenal senpai
RB Leipzig are
>>76018395
as a life long Leipzig fan I can confirm this.
>>76018395
>>76018410
looking forward to the leipzig - salzburg cl final desu
they can get to quarter finals, if they haven't a tough draw, but that's it.
This decade only Chelsea has the ability to reach CL finals, from England
>>76018262
Playing at Wembley is going to kill any chance of Spurs winning anything. Their compact, high pressing game simply doesn't work on the large Wembley pitch (see their defeat to West Ham, exactly the same problem. Expect them to be battling for 4th in the league with Arsenal/Man United while Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool challenge for the title, and inevitably finishing 3rd in their group again and flopping in the Europa.
I have no idea what the dimensions of the new stadium are gonna be, but if they make it bigger they're run by retards.
And Cork City are the Europa League top dogs
>>76018440
Premier League (and European) rules require all pitches to be bigger than the one at White Hart Lane. They're literally finished now that they can't play all their home games on such a small pitch.
>>76018486
>>76018440
This, every game they played on a larger pitch they just run around like headless chickens. They looked championship tier in their CL games.
lol

Leipzig unironically have a good shot at the RO16 unless they get Juve and Barcelona or some shit like that.
>>76018524
as a life long Leipzig fan I can confirm this.
>>76018524
Lepizig are gonna get picked apart in the transfer market.
>>76018497
The difference in the largest and smallest pitches is negligible. This isnt Sunday League, they have strict regulations. You wouldn't really notice a couple of metres difference.
>Man U
>Have won 2 trophies, on course to win the EL
>Everyone says that they're having a terrible season
>Spuds
>0 trophies
>Everyone says that they had a good season and will challenge for the treble next season
What do they mean with this?
>>76018563
kek
By all means, buy Keita for 60 million.
>>76018580
ikr my fellow customer.
>>76018565
>You wouldn't really notice a couple of metres difference.
Professional footballers would. An extra metre of space is huge.
>>76018565
>The difference in the largest and smallest pitches is negligible.
You're fucking retarded.
>FIFA defines minimum dimensions of 45m x 90m and max dimensions of 90m x 120m. For official matches or international competition, FIFA has set minimum football pitch measurements to 64m x 100m and max to 75m x 110m.
But speaking of Sunday League, I was at a game last week where the pitch was probably shorter than it was wide, possibly about 70x70. And it wasn't even that, one side wasn't straight so it was more like a trapeze.

lel
>exploit the right

>german infrastructure
>playing at wembley
confirmed for relegated and out in group stages
>>76018725
I guess they just didn't have enough room for a proper pitch there.
They even got a special permission to have league games there.
>>76018722
The left side of the pitch is way smaller than the right one as well.
>>76018737
>I guess they just didn't have enough room for a proper pitch there.
Like at White Hart Lane?
>>76018748
kek
favourite to be eliminated in group stage
>>76019483
>mfw Spurs, Spurs up getting eliminated and still have to play Europa league
>>76018565
>only a couple meters
>Wembley, 7,245 m^2
>WHL, 6700 m^2
That's a difference of 500+ m^2 in area which is a lot when you consider that the players are used to pressing in a smaller area. Also, you don't use regular meters to denote or measure area, you use m^2.
>got easiest group draw possible
>Got knocked out
>Played first team in EL
>Got knocked out by fucking Genk
Spurs are European chokers like Arselel
>>76020946
>Lester beat the 3rd best Spanish club at the time to reach quarterfinals and had to be refballed to be stopped by Atletico
Spuds bandwagoners should just kts
>>76020946
Arselel at least manage to wait until the Ro16 before they get humiliated. Spuds can't even manage that.
>>76020946
>Arsenal
>choking
No they just draw Bayern Munich or Barcelona every year who are clearly better teams.
>>76018580
Bumping for the TRUTH.
>>76020946
its fucking gent not genk,
>>76022531
Which one more elite?
>>76020946
This so much and yet /sp/ still makes fun of Arsenal 24/7.
>>76023281
Spurs aren't relevant enough to be made fun of. Arsenal meanwhile is the only club on /sp/ to have a general.
>>76018262
Spurs ponces think they're the best team in England because they scored lots of goals against a 3-man make-shift defence with 0 named centre backs.
They'll be in relegation contention next season due to poor home form.
>>76023281
IMO the 10-2 is more embarrassing than Spurs' European campaign
>>76023931
You serious? As opposed to losing to a Championship tier team?
>>76025081
>lose by 1 goal then draw against a lesser team
>5-1 twice to a good team
Yes
