The Capitals have been too good for too long to not have a cup, it's completely unfair because the playoffs are just too flukey and small a sample size to judge which team is most worthy of a championship.
anyone else think that the capitals should be given a championship just for winning two president cups in a row?
I.E. every two presidents cup counts as 1 stanley cup?

I agree that League formats are better, like soccer leagues. However, if winning the presidents trophy was the ultimate goal, would the Caps have even won it? Keep in mind nearly every team does not go 100% in all 82 games.
