Pushing back the line would only benefit teams like the Warriors.

a. eliminate the line entirely (not happening, casuals like 3s too much)
b. bring the line in to college distance, neutralizing the advantage so that every team can chuck and hit 3s (say goodbye to the midrange game for good)
c. keep the line where it is, bring back handchecking and/or enforce moving screen fouls (would require refs to do their job for once)
