How deluded is this cunt?
>>
>>75178739
What do you mean? Is he wrong?
>>
>>75178836
He seems to suggest that tonight was less a reflection of Juventus' strength and more of Barcelona squandering several chances. If you ask me, Juventus dominated tonight.
>>
>>75178739

Barca's defense is a joke.

And it doesn't help playing a 343 when you don't have the type of midfield players in the wings for that, when your defensive midfielder is oldfag Mascherano and when your centerbacks are Mathieu and Umtiti.

>mfw even jurassic, slow af mammooth Mandzukic was piercing the wing and assisting Dybala for a goal.
>>
>>75178928
But Barcelona did play like shit. Juve will always be seen as just a good squad who dominate in Serie A
>>
>>75179003
>blaming Umtiti
no

Barca could've essentially been down only a goal going back to Camp Nou had Iniesta/Suarez scored.
>b-but Higuain
there's a reason he's known as a perennial choker unlike the other 2
>>
>>75179018

Yeah, and it could also have been 4-0 hadn't the ref disallowed that legit Juve goal.

I don't blame Umtiti at all. He's a decent defender. Not great, just decent. Yet he's not a full back and there was literally no one in the midfield helping him out with Cuadrado, who enjoyed it thoroughly, because the ones playing to the left side, Iniesta and Nerman, are not exactly reknown for their defensive quality. The whole team is just imbalanced af.

Also, Mandzukic was cucking the other wing, the one with Sergi Roberto (who isn't ever a proper full back, more like a general purpose midfield handyman) and... nobody else.
>>
>>75178928
They did squander 3 good chances despite playing like shit.
>>
>>75178739
this isn't deluded at all. he's being pretty humble about it all. Iniesta is still likeable as fuck.

Xavi now would go on about how Juve didn't play real football and seek moral victory because they dominated possession.

Iniesta is just butthurt because he knows he's finished. Juventus played a perfect match, every single player gave a great performance. They let the manlets play their impotent little tiki-taka in the middle, and got past them easily on the flanks when needed. Possession is basically a negative stat in modern football.
Unless they get three penalties at Camp Nou, I don't know what could they possibly do to defeat Juve.

No, they literally did it until they had the srength to do it, which was around 65-70'. At that point it was already 3-0 and they were coocked.
>>
>>75183245
Domination is when you press the opponent inside their own third for most of the match and score 2 goals from patient (not slow) power play.

Juve scored one good goal. The other two were Barca blunder and deflection luck.

Barça is a team of made out of the finest values humanity has to offer, we are a team of VALORS
The Barça players were worried about the health of Bartra
a former teammate,
an idol of La Masia,
and more important, a catalan.
The match should've been postponed just like the Dortmund Monaco.
But this isn't new
In the 2009 semis, Barça had to travel to Milan by bus because of that volcano from Iceland.
Mou's Inter took advantage of this and we lost because the players were tired, and the referee even disallowed that Bojan goal becuase of a suposed hand of Torue Yaya wich was actually the chest.
You can shout uefalona all you want but I don't give a fuck, the proofs are there for all to see.

It's no coincidence that neither Chelsea, Madrid, Monaco or Juve play possession football and are winning their respective leagues. Tiki-taka is long or the general concept of keeping the ball in opposition's third are long forgotten. It's all about quick transition, expoliting spaces and effectiveness now

but it wasn't. this is the perfect result for this match. the 3:0 represents the game perfectly. You're the delusional fanboy. How can't you see that 4 shots ond target with 70% ball possession is clearly a sign of a disfunctional team. Barca was weak as fuck and wasn't capable of more than passing around in the midfield without a plan. and the sad thing is, barca is still dependent on old man messi to create chances. Barca needs a new coach asap.
(and i'm not a juve supporter, i'm just capable of seing things how they are)

Barcelona had their best chances when Juventus turtled, and Juventus choked on as many goals as Barcelona did, so if you want to call it right that's a 5-2.

And you're right about one thing:

>Definitely not a mentality of a champion.

Juventus is a big team with poor budget and small-team mentality, it's closer to a Super Borussia than Bayern and Real.

Juventus has to sell in order to buy, they have to hope Alves is kicked out of Barca like a dog to get a good albeit old right back. Juventus had to play almost every single formation in existence this season in order to make it through, they had to put a lot of games to sleep to save energy for this match, because their bench is not even good enough to escape relegation in EPL.

Believe it or not, last night looked like your average Serie A Juventus game, with the only difference Higuain played a second striker to let Dybala shine through.

>>75183494

Atletico wouldn't play well even if they tried to, because they don't have as much quality. If ATL and JUV were to square off in the semifinals unless there's some major bloopers it's penalties after two draws.

Hardly a shocking decision, you see worse calls being made every weekend. But that's been happening throughout football history. Barcelona is just a special extreme outlier because of the football schools started by Cruyff. Plus the backing of a whole "nation" (Catalonia) and financial possibilities thanks to that. It's really, really hard to copy. But every good manager adapts the system to the available players. It's not efficient to copy the system when you can't grow or buy the same talents.

tl;dr possession is very important

I dont bandwagon Barca but it doesnt take a plastic damage controlling bandwagoner to see how garbage current Barca are. If Juve lose the second leg without scoring a goal it will just prove my point. Minor teams have beaten Barca this season so dont get carries away
>>
who here /scared of another comback/ ?

albeit if that happens footy is confirmed rigged sport
>>
>>75184644
Agreed with this honestly, not the most fortunate choice of words on Iniesta's part perhaps but it should be probably interpreted as "we're shit" rather than "Juve aren't that good actually".
>>
>>75184644
He's transferring accountability to the manager while protecting his teammates, Luis Enrique will be the scapegoat for this season

It would damage the CL's credibility a lot, thats Europa League-tier

Juve would have to choke much harder than they did with Pep's Bayern
>>
>>75184689
not sure if the message blames solely luis enrique, maybe he thinks the plans were clear but the players didn't follow them

in any case, luis enrique has a huge part of the blame, he's made some really stupid decisions this season

I don't why 14 year olds think Uefalona plays the most amazing beautiful football in the world, they went into lang baal backpass filosofee overdrive yesterday

A bit early, but who's on the shortlist for his replacement?
>>
>>75184680
No one leaves camp nou without conceding goals in a big game. A comeback is still possible if Barca are determined, MSN is in good form and Busquets is back
>>

Atletico are better than Juve and Barca did fine against them at Camp nou. Messi had some of the Juve defenders ball watching at times. If Nerman gets his A game on, they can make back the goal deficit at home
>>
>>75184822
the same way uefa defended themselves when madrid got their ''''''''''''''lucky draws'''''''''' last season
>>
>>75184823
Isnt Sampaoli still the preferred option? I know he's favored for the Argentina job but I doubt he would take it over the Barca job
>>
>>75184891
he would be the fan favourite out of all candidates but he's an outsider to the club so that puts him in the back of the line considering the current board
>>
>>75184874
>Atletico are better than Juve
And how did you come to that conclusion? Barcelona forawds were completely lost yesterday, besides that one incisive Messi's pass Juve had them completely covered. Sandro alone won like 4 duels against Messi, I don't see why the rematch should be any different. If anything, Juve will be even more focused on defence and when Barca go all out, Higuain or Dybala will just score on a counter.
They'll need three penalties.
>>
>>75184600
>barca is stronger
The only Barca players I would want at Juve are Iniesta and maybe Neymar and Umtiti.
>>75184674
>bandwagon
Listen nigger, football here is religion, we don't "bandwagon" as you shiteating goym do.
I've also played in a local team called Juventus when I was young. Fuck off.

Champions League is not some random Liga match, idiot. I can guarantee you that Barca absolutely wanted to win the game and they did everything they could. Juve was just better.
>>
>>75184940
Atletico have better defenders and are more organized. At Camp Nou Juve will practically be pinned in their box and wont be able to press as highly else they lose posession and risk having one of MSN score. You also forget that Busquets wasnt available and he is essential to controlling the midfield for Barca. Barca looked lost yesterday because they didnt have Busquets and Enrique went full retard in picking Mathieu

>>
>>75184982
And Suarez, forgot him.
Because they're strong. Duh.
Umtiti yesterday was the only Barca player with a positive score for me and we need a young defender.
>>
>>75184979
>Atletico have better defenders and are more organized
Highly arguable, but either way it's them or Juve as the best defending team in the world.
>Juve will practically be pinned in their box
> else they lose posession
Well we've seen how much damage Barca's passing in Juve's half did the last time lmao. Juventus don't need possession, they didn't have it yesterday and yet comfortably controlled the match the way they needed. Busquets won't change anything, they'll get destroyed on the flanks again.
>>
>>75184979
How did Busquets do in the first leg against PSG?
Stop parroting things you heard from TV pundits.
Barca's midfield is utter shit and their defence is even worse. They were always gonna get btfo yesterday and the only reason they were is because of refball and PSG going full retard.
>>
>>75185006
>we need a young defender
Caldara + Rugani for the future, of course. Umtiti would be virtually useless, a rotation option at best.

Is Suarez finished? Nowadays he seems to be good only at scoring against relegation fodder and diving for penalties
>>

Barca need to buy a backup striker to force Suarez to work harder for his place
>>
>>75185142
>>75185182
He's goals to games ratio is literally 90% he's at his prime and his place is secure because Messi and Neymar could easily slot in the favored number 9 position
