Devil's advocate here... their linebackers (besides Hightower) are below average. Nink used to be a good edge player but he's getting old. Maybe they draft someone, but their first pick is late in the draft as is.

Their defensive line is definitely good, but not at pass rushing. That could be a scheme thing, though. Their bend-but-don't-break method that they employed last year works (obviously), but I'd like to see them get after it like they did from 01-04. Even in '14 with Revis and Browner playing press man they dialed up more creative pass rushes. Hope they return to that a bit this year, because with either Butler or Sherman, their secondary is a top 5, probably top 3 secondary in the NFL. No need to use such a soft scheme this year.
