Romo was an elite quarterback for about 8 straight years, he just had literally no team, and this was when Jerry Jones was drafting tight ends we didn't need, signing players like Pac Man Jones and Terrell Owens, and had no idea what the fuck he was doing before Stephen Jones came in to run things.

Cowboys should have been to at least one NFC Championship, if not Super Bowl, in the late 2000s/early 2010s if we had pretty much any other front office in the entire league.

Romo was the only reason the Cowboys were actually kind of relevant for a decade.

He really had some of the most tragic sports luck ever. The team around him was complete shit outside of very early in his career when he was too inexperienced to lead them to a championship, and very late in his career when he suffered from constant back problems keeping him from playing.

All those 8-8 and 7-9 seasons in the middle where they just barely missed the playoffs, Romo utterly carried those awful teams to better records that they should have even had. He only truly "choked" in his first few years of his career, but the idea that he was a choker after that was just bullshit.

Romo is a 1st ballot Hall of Famer not even debatable. Guy had the most heart and guts in the entire league

Seeing that in retrospect, Curry was clearly shook as fuck on that possession more so than Love playing good D. He should have easily blasted past Love but seemed completely set on trying to shoot a 3 instead of driving to the rim for some reason. Love's gangly weird defense must have surprised him like he was expecting him to bite on the fakes like a normal perimeter defender, but Love just kept unpredictably flailing around in a way that Curry didn't expect.
