I guarantee if England were dropped to pot 2 for a qualifying campaign it would be 10 years before they ended up in pot 1 again. They only ever have to play a full strength top quality side once every two years, whereas in Ireland we usually have to get assraped twice by the likes of Germany just before qualification draws are made.

I'm not arguing Ireland are as good as England, because they aren't, but there's no way they deserve to be in a pot above France or Italy. The fact that Iceland are below them too is a joke. Qualification draws shouldn't have been made until after the Euros were over.
