so what the fuck is gonna happen next for arsenal?
>arsene leaves, lose top players, stuck in limbo with average new manager
>arsene stays, sign nobody, stuck in limbo with badly managed players
are we doomed to
>>74926286
>arsene leaves
its a catch 22,the only solution is to sacrifice Claude
It all depends on how much Arsenal wants to spend when Wenger leaves. I expect them to spend enough to finish top 4 but nothing more.
>>74926340
but who would even want to come here at this point? certainly nobody of the calibre of ozil or sanchez
>>74926286
wenger is staying at least onemore season
how do I know?
robert pires was interviewed by radio marca this afternoon because of the spain-france game tonight, and apparently he's always in contact (works?) with wenger. When asked if wenger would leave he said in his opinion wenger must stay, the best for the club now. He said it in a way it sounded like a certain and already made decision
so, lmao

Big names wouldn't come, no, which is why Arsenal would have to spend on future talents. This adds two problems for them, being able to find those players and being able to keep them.
Honestly Arsenal fucked up each season in the past 3 seasons or so, should have let Wonga go when the league was still shit. Now every top6 teams looks at least competent.

btw, I'm not joking: pires was interviewed today by radio marca and he sounded very convinced and convincing wenger would stay
>>74926377
wenger is p good at finding future talents tho imo, he just needs to take the board and asst mgr's advice and spend some fucking cash, he's missed out on so many opportunities to grab stars. unfortunately he will never do that so we'll be stuck with a promoted league 2 manager next season
>>74926455
>wenger is p good at finding future talents tho
But is he good at actually making them good?
>>74926354
arsenal have money. why do you think Ozil and Sanchez joined? because wenger went undefeated a decade ago?
>>74926482
because he was willing to spend that money, and yeah, arsenal are definitely regarded as a sinking ship atm rather than stable
>>74926482
>arsenal have money
they don't compared to the top teams, their income is shit compared to them
man's missing santi so much
