Ranieri is an awful manager, who genuinely managed to lose against Faroese farmers with Greece. Since he's pissed off, Leicester have beaten Liverpool, Sevilla and Hull, two of which are good sides. Before that they were on a certain path to relegation. Only an absolute mong would oppose his sacking in light of very recent events.

Honestly the timing of the sacking was very logical to me, I always believed that they sacked him after the first Sevilla game because they only lost 2-1 and (correctly) thought they could salvage the season by beating Sevilla in the return, but they needed a new manager for that because Ranieri was leading Leicester to their doom.

Whaddaya know, they turned out to be right, their new manager actually managed to beat Sevilla and go through to the next round, and he'll probably save them from relegation too.
