Wade reached his potential. He's one of the best 2 guards of all time and won 3 championships. His numbers were never elite because he played with shaq and then lebron and had to share the ball. By the time they left he was passed his prime.
Still, he has great numbers and 3 championships, and was never expected to be GOAT. His career has gone about as well as you could possibly expect and he'll end up in the HOF

Wade didn't get the same marketing push that MJ and Kobe got. Michael Jordan was the most recognizable athlete in the world because of Nike and the NBA. Kobe was the successor to Michael Jordan. Dwayne Wade was never pushed as the face of the NBA. I bet that 90% of basketball fans on /sp/ wouldn't be able to tell you what brand Wade was endorsed by when entering into the league. Wade had the talent, he didn't have the marketing team.
