Weekend League and SBCs basically killed any enjoyment of creative teams. Every decent player now has the coins to make a fucking super team. If you play Div 1/WL you're just putting yourself at a massive disadvantage that really isn't enjoyable. The amount of sweat this year is unprecedented. Even the Ibarbo/Welliton/Esswein sprint days weren't this bad.

I had fun with the 3421, but good players will exploit it. I've gone on runs with them all. 41212, 4321, 4312, 4411, 433, 352, 3421. Recently tried the 4231 narrow after a guy went 159-1 (1 disconnect) last month in WL. Never trying a different formation again in FIFA 17. Solid as fuck defensively and the best of both worlds offensively. Counter is always there. Players always around to keep possession without the middle being congested. Best part is that it throws the 41212/4321 completely off. The key is using wingers which is annoying since it requires an in game formation change, but it's worth it. I use to struggle to keep possession against the high press 41212 teams, but now I'm keeping 55%+ against elite opponents.

I have this team right now minus Fabregas but I might buy him next. Thoughts? I use EPL because I watch it and know the players, but I didn't want to be TOO cancerous so I'm starting to try avoiding Smalling, Kante, Bailly, Mane, Musa etc. I also get annoyed with that shit.

Not totally sure how I want to handle the midfielders. Before Lallana and Fabregas I was using Henderson and Kante because of their defensive abilities, but I wanted to switch to CM's with more creative and scoring abilities.

Ogbonna is really good, probably one of the best CBs I've used this year.

Don't buy any packs my man. Silvers in non-sbc leagues can be bought for discard and sold on when relevant. If I was in you position, I'd look through the bundesliga and invest in lower-rated teams that have no golds in certain positions, I did that weeks ago and I'm just waiting for the Lewa sbc to make another 200k.

Also, the bronze pack method was good to me too, buy a shit-ton of the cheapest bronze packs and fill your club with tons of players that may be relevant at some stage. The Squad fitness cards and injury cards sell for 1k.
