How did you know??
I have the full panini 2006 sticker album of the wc in germany. Everyone collected that shit back then.

I still have baseball cards I collected as a kid. I'll have to go through those again to see if there's anything that's appreciated in value or will down the line.
I also collected Pokemon cards for a brief time. My parents were rather strict on TCGs and CCGs like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic when I was a kid because hyper-conservative parents in Bible-Belt Texas surrounded by butt-fucking nowhere.

did sports cards even appreciate? i thought they peaked some time ago

Only ones worth money these days are the autographed ones and the ones with pieces of jersey or whatever. At that point you set the price considering no one really wants them other than other collectors.

Pretty much what this anon said. >>74301788
However, jersey cards are pretty much throwaways at this point unless there were a limited amount produced. So pretty much autograph cards and cards made before 1987 are the only of any value. Except for some token 90s cards. And I do mean token. 99.9% of 90s sports cards are trash

Yeah when I was a babby. I have that Upper Deck Griffey rookie. But iirc there's some printing error on a few and some are worth more than others and I forget which one I have.

yeah panini was the shit
I still have my premier league stick albums from the 90s. Glorious times. Nearly every kid in school collected them and we would spend every lunch break trading them.
Here is the Blackburn team that won the league
I have a few hundred cards too but they were never really popular. It was all about the stickers
