What comes to Wes Welker's mind when he thinks about Julian Edelman?
Where am I? Who's Julian Edelman? What's my name again?
Something like that.

His thought process must go something like this:
Ahksjssba hoi bss no shaiasbbssbsisslb s snssksdje. Dsjshs sjss sss jej kalslebsi
Pats fan here. I really hoped that Wes Welker comes back with the Pats and win a ring. During this season towards the end I was hoping that NE Patriots will sign Wes Welker and Randy Moss to come back get a ring each and retire.
Just a question, are NFL teams allowed to make signing any time during the season? or is it like the English Premier League, where there is a "transfere window" and teams allowed to sell/buy players?

Bees are dying at an alarming rate

Wes Welker's brain is one more concussion away from being jello and Randy Moss is old as dirt. You can sign free agents pretty much whenever but you can't make trades after the deadline.

Sadly they're both bad luck on teams.
Wes and Moss on the Pats for 07 owl, they lost.
Wes on Pats for 2011 owl, they lost.
Moss on Niners for 2012 owl, they lost.
Wes on Broncos for 2013 owl, they lost.

I don't think anything comes to his mind other than pain and suicidal thoughts

They don't have roster spots they can waste on old guys who can't play anymore. You've got 53 spots and 24 starters (actually more like 30+ if you consider different packages), so there's barely enough space to fit a backup player for every position. On top of that you probably want to have a few spots reserved for special teamers like a long snapper and kick returner.
