Unless the back 4 have above 85 pace/stamina, I wouldn't play that high up at 50. I use 35 myself, but 40 is good because it's not too deep and doesn't give as much space. There will be a sweet spot that you have to find for yourself.

The amount of times the ball deflects and lands, pinpoint, at his players feet happens too often for it to be random chance. There's definitely some scripting going on

lay off turbo then tap l2 and then turbo again while changing directions, use l1 from time to time in conjunction with proper pace control to basically weave through defenses.

technically you can dribble past anybody if things fall your way and you can adapt to the situation with various button combinations to make the player do what you want.
